Oh my, are you that delusional?

No American politician is going to do a thing about lowering the price of oil. The best we can hope for is the continuing illicit relationship of our government with the house of Saud.

Oil prices are based on speculation and the decreasing flexibility of supply, and demand will only increase with countries like China and India consuming ever higher amounts.

The best Hillary could do, as a senator and potential president, is support the development of alternative energy sources.

As a lone senator, there is little she can do.

She didn't start the trouble in the Middle East, the Neocons and the Israelis did that - and Bush played stooge for them both.

She also didn't borrow money massively (like about 600 billion dollars) from the Chinese, Japanese, and other foreign governments to finance Bush's stupid war in Iraq. Bush did that - and hence the value of the dollar is sinking daily and our grandchildren are indebted to Asians.

What she will do as president - probably face reality: end the war, tell us all to tighten our belts, and begin paying down the massive debts created by an unchecked and loony Neocon/AIPAC dominated administration.

She most likely will not be popular for being a realist. But then again, her husband left us with a budget surplus and not in debt.

She won't do anything. Oil will blow through $100 heading to $150. Gasoline will probably be around $4.00 by late spring.
Alot of the problem is the devaluing of the US dollar.
If the dollar is not stabilized oil will keep rising.
Oil is pegged to the US dollar. Thats why alot of Middle East
countries are now turning away from the dollar and wanting payment in euros.

She hasn't done anything about it, nobody has.

I know it hurts to hear it (and as Canada is the #1 supplier of oil to the US it hurts to say it) but Americans need to focus on reducing their dependency on oil. You are going to have to cut back. Get used to it.

Bush is not helping to lower the price of oil by fighting a war in the middle east and constantly threatening Iran. The price of oil goes up when the middle east is not stable.

High oil prices are part of the reason the Canadian dollar has surpassed the American dollar in value.

Blame it on Bush and his oil buddies. It's those Republicans!

She'll do nothing except blame Republicans.

She can do nothing about it. She is a loud mouth, duplicitous hag who is all talk. Only an idiot would consider her a viable candidate for President.

I think you need to read a book about economics. We buy most of our oil from other countries, which means no one here, including the office of the president or the members of congress has very much to do with the price.
