I don't know about you, but I do not support the idea that it's ok to torture and kill innocents because terrorists do it.

We should be above that.
==================
"Kill them openly in public and leave the corpse out in the open for all to see.

Commit unspeakable acts of torture on them and let in be known amongst the terrorist community.

When dealing with suicide bombers and high ranking terrorist officials. Track down their entire families (wife, kids, mom, dad, brother & sister) and have them disappear. This way they know that not only will they be giving their own lives, in doing so the will sacrafice the lives of anyone they called family"

Does it not depend on what sort of a 'christian' you are...suspect pure ones will be against it - but the 'pick 'n' choose (from the Bible) group will not only carry on with hypocrisy - but get the best lawyers to support them, when found out.

When did terrorists become innocent people? You have just ask a really contradictory question. I do not support torturing or killing innocent people. I do support defending against terrorism. If you are a christian then you have read the bible. When God sent us into an area that was not acting right what did he say should be done? According to the Old Testament he said to kill them all. They would corrupt the chosen ones if left to live. Well if we go by the Bible not many of us will still be around. The New Testament Jesus would say turn the other cheek but even he lost his temper and had a fit with the money changers in the temple. We may try to live like Christ but we are only human and an eye for an eye appeals to most.

You can be a Christian and do WHATEVER you want. Although, some activities would be looked down upon by the Christian community.

It's OK. I think all rational people don't support the notion that it's OK to torture people, even guilty ones (exception in the case you can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that information they have can save lives and time is running out).

No. Regardless of whether or not you are christian. No human being should support torture and the killing of innocent people.

I'm not sure where you're getting your question. It may be in your link somewhere, but I'm not going to read it all. Just know that one person, if they said this, does not speak for the anyone but himself.

Christianity has been a mis-used tool of the right all along. Throw God into the equation and say that he agrees with your point of view. Now, if you disagree, you are against God! That is true facism and we are perfecting it. It drives people away from the positive and life-affirming message of Jesus Christ. The Bible also states that when such people get to heaven, he will look at them and say, 'go away. I never knew you.' Cold comfort, but it helps.

I would say that person is a poser.

No way would a Christian believe that. It's this kind of stuff that makes me wonder what is happening to America?
I can only think it's due to ignorance and lack of understanding. Maybe history knowledge is weak? Maybe government knowledge is also weak?

You can call yourself anything you like but that sure doesn't sound like something Jesus would do. To me it sounds more like something Hitler would approve of. When dealing with extreme evil we must always guard we don't become what we are fighting. If we end up with anything less than a free and open society and a society of laws we have already lost.

I think it is very common, and that is one of the reasons I am not a christian, and why I have no use for most organized religions...especially the fear based ones. *sm*

You can be a fake Christian or a Christian hypocrite and support any kind of horrible atrocity and unnecessary death and destruction. Happens all the time.

We shouldn't be torturing innocent people anyway. Now, terrorists, that's a little different. I guess if you extrapolate it out, you can kill in self defense, and in a way, you are defending your people via extricating information from a terrorist. In that way, it's kind of self-defense, and kind of acceptable. It's hazy, but I guess.
