Douche of the Week: Dennis Kucinich

September 24th, 2007

This week, we salute Democratic Ohio Congressman (and Presidential hopeful) Dennis Kucinich for his titillating tour of the Middle East. Apparently, Mr. Kucinich thought himself just too darn important to stick to his President’s policy of avoiding direct talks with the oligarchic Syrian government; nay, the solidarity of the American administration must be sacrificed to Mr. Kucinich’s politcal ambitions. During this visit, he made it a point to stop by Syria and have a little one-on-one time with Syrian President Bashar Assad, a prolific sponsor of terror and sworn enemy of the United States.

As an Englishman who currently owns many major US based businesses i feel i must ask this.
I have noticed that many Americans on this site are a little upset over my use of the term"owning Americans".The terms"own" isnt meant in a derogatory fashion it is just the way we decribe employing people in England. The Americans who i control dont have any issues with me "owning" them and many look at me as some kind of hero.
Sorry if i have offended

The logic behind this question is Britain should be punished if it does not use her special relationship with the US to influence the US to stop the Iraq occupation.
NOW , apply this logic into China 2008 Olympics , western politicans have been advocating the boycott of Beijing 2008 Olympics if China failed to stop the Darfur killings and recently , the troubles in Burma . Can you detect some kinds of double standards / talks in this logic / argument ?

It appears that the foreignor George Soros and his Moveon.org party has taken over the Democratic party and installed his Socialistic views in them. His money is buying out the Democrats one by one. Are the American people ready for Socialism?

There was no hesitation in invading Iraq and they even found excuses like "weapons of mass destruction" that subsequently turned out to be false. Now that the Burmese people desperately need the help of the West they will get nothing except a few words of support.

It looks as if there may be a repeat of East Germany in 1953, Hungary in 1956 and Czeckoslovakia in 1968--i.e. the West will stand idly by while people's dreams of freedom are brutally crushed.

And they say it's not all about oil...

Are they dead or dying! I don't think that.

My politics probably puts me amongst communists.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, known as the Mormons, teaches that God the father used to be a man on another planet, that he became a God by following the laws and ordinances of that God on that planet and came to this world with his wife (she became a goddess), and that they produce a spirit offspring in heaven. These spirit offspring, which includes Jesus, the devil, and you and me, are all brothers and sisters born in the preexistence. The preexistence spirits come down and inhabit babies at the time of birth and their memories of the preexistence are lost at the time. Furthermore, faithful Mormons, who pay a full 10% tithe of their income to the Mormon church and go through a Mormon temples, have the potential of becoming gods of their own planets and are then able to start the procedure over again.

Is resulting to violence the only answer to wake up the nation. When the mass minority has gained a mass control we have tyranny.
When the media does not make it clear that the people are demanding something, the people must refer to the declaration of Independence for answers.

My question has nothing to do with race. It is about America and civil liberties, Freedom . We are all influenced through propaganda to be financial slaves.

All I can say is God have mercy on us, because there are no good candidates from either party. The only consistantly decent person seems to be Ron Paul, but I don't know if he has a chance because he's not in any corporate pockets and has no funds.
Both party's are looking bad. These candidates get scarier by the day. We need a miracle.

George Bush should replace George Washington on the dollar, because he has done a lot to devalue the dollar in foriegn markets. The amount of money he has borrowed to fight the war in Iraq, has devalued U.S. currency.

My interest in China was piqued when I heard about how they violently took over Tibet (yes, ladies and gents, I'm a buddhist). China invaded Tibet the same as Iraq invaded Kuwait. We got involved in the Gulf War because of it(Kuwait) . But America refuses to get involved in liberating Tibet. Most of all, America refuses to recognize the Dalai Lama as a religious or political leader although he was the leader before Chinas harsh takeover.
Why would we support a country economically that has behaved similarly to Saddam Husseins' Iraq? Why do we still buy, trade & continue business with a country like this? Why does America turn a blind eye?
Please don't be angry or offended. I'm seriously just curious.
I try not to buy anything made in China but really, its hard. Have you looked at all the stuff in your house lately to see where it was made? Almost all of it was "Made in China". America makes communism look bad so why does its relationship w/China get swept under the rug?
