The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, known as the Mormons, teaches that God the father used to be a man on another planet, that he became a God by following the laws and ordinances of that God on that planet and came to this world with his wife (she became a goddess), and that they produce a spirit offspring in heaven. These spirit offspring, which includes Jesus, the devil, and you and me, are all brothers and sisters born in the preexistence. The preexistence spirits come down and inhabit babies at the time of birth and their memories of the preexistence are lost at the time. Furthermore, faithful Mormons, who pay a full 10% tithe of their income to the Mormon church and go through a Mormon temples, have the potential of becoming gods of their own planets and are then able to start the procedure over again.

And we all know tat CARM is the last authority on the Mormons, right? They certainly know more of what Mormons believe than the stupid Mormons, right?

You know, if they told you that this was from a Sunday School lesson or something, then they were lying to you. Cause I was NEVER taught THIS drek you've posted. it's a really twisted version of a combination of what we believe and what we THEORIZE from what we believe.

However, God is the only One who can decide if we become gods, IF we become gods. And I don't think that God is overly impressed with someone being elected POTUS. Unless CARM is also stating that "Mormons believe" that being elected POTUS is the ultimate stop on the road to exaltation (which is a lie, too, but CARM doesn't let that stop them, do they?).

No, being a god isn't about POWER. it's about mercy and humility, and all those things in the Be-attitudes. Remember, Jesus said that the first shall be LAST and the last shall be FIRST. I'm not saying that Romney doesn't have a prayer of becoming a god, just that WE should not second guess our Heavenly Father, and our final Judge, Jesus Christ.

Yes. And he has you under his evil spell right now. Soon, you will put on a white shirt with a black nameplate and start riding a bike around a neighborhood on the other side of the country from your home handing out copies of the Book of Mormon with a smile.

If Romney becomes President, he ain't gonna give a flying damn whether we all become Mormons or not.

I have been reading up on this too. Sounds like a good running mate for Mitt would be a Scientologist. lol

Another one to study is that Tancredo. He has extreme views of what is considered health care for a female. I call it the Barefoot and Pregnant Initiative.

Have a great night!!
