We grew tired of your Benny Hill long ago.

Americans laugh a lot. Your question is interesting because I think most Americans believe that the English are very stiff upper lip, no nonsense types. Obviously those people haven't watched Benny Hill and other British comedies. Maybe you should watch some American comedies and see what makes us laugh. The sense of humor is there, just a little different.

We laugh all the time, mostly at you. Please, an eight year old owning anything or anyone. That makes you and Monty Python the only funny things to come off that island prison (That, and that sorry excuse for food) (oh, and lets not forget about your teeth)(or the soccer riots) You know, now that I think about it, I don't see how you can walk down the street without giggling yourself into a coma. That's why your TV hasn't been funny since 1979, you get too much laughter looking at yourselves.

We Americans can't be carefree, relaxed, and laughing because you clever Englishmen will somehow trick us as soon as our guard is down. We're just naive, country folk while you wiley, sophisticated Englishmen, surveying your imperial domain on The Continent like veritable masters of the land, simply outmatch us. We're just simple, good-hearted people. We don't understand your cosmopolitan, big city ways.
So, as you see, we have to be careful about laughing. We need total concentration, just like we're in a chess match. I know from experience the superior cleverness of the Englishmen. When I went on an excursion to Jolly Old England, I was tricked into eating a kidney pie. Spent the rest of my meager holiday trying to recover while the English overlords looked on and laughed at my distress.

Age of Empires has an 'America' version out now? Who knew?
I think you right-click, and select "inject humor". Not sure for the game "The Sims" but I'm sure it's in there somewhere. But for now, you should go outside and get some sunlight... Maybe it will clear your head, so you can distinguish between your computer games, and reality.

You 'own' Americans!? lol. is that like owning a tranformer or a PS3. I think to make them laugh you need to pull the chord in their back, the laugh may seem a bit fake though, and exactly the same as the next American, and the next, and the next, and the next, and the next........

Greetings. where do you get that idea? we laugh at Englanders all the time. your just not looking in the right place. I bet if the Americans you own had matches and you were doused in gasoline and hung up outside one of the places you own here that all of them would have a smile on their face as they used their matches to light you up. Might even have a lottery to decide who gets to "Light your fire" first. no one likes a jackal

Will ya get off the "own them" thing. Do you treat them as equals? And yes, Americans laugh a lot. Do you?
As a matter of fact, you are striking me as quite funny.

Well, first off, my BS meter just shot to the top of the scale. I don't believe one word of your post. You seem more like a typical internet troll looking to get a rise out of someone. As an American born and bred, I get a laugh out of reading tripe like you just posted. You are off to a good start in that respect. I also don't believe, if you actually are British, that you are representative of most Brits either. I've been to England twice, and overall find most British folks are decent, friendly people just trying to live their lives as well as they can. Nice try, but I don't buy it there Sid.
