Well, since nobody else mentioned it, I'll throw in evisceration of environmental protections that will take us decades to correct.

And, witwwat, we could easily have a decent Homeland Security and protection of ports if we weren't spending 12 billion dollars a month on a war which has absolutely no effect on our safety.

Interesting:
"Much of that borrowed money paid for military expenses after the 9/11 attacks – spending unanticipated when Mr. Bush took office."

But didn't Condi say that Bush received a memo saying that Bin Laden was going to strike in the US? Maybe he should have started putting together a responsible budget then. But, I digress.

The legacy of the Bush Junta will be that for the first time since the Civil War we have 'red' states and 'blue' states instead of the United States. This political polorization is now institutionalized and promoted daily by the right wing radio bozos and FOX network. The idea of 'the loyal opposition' is just about dead now. Right wing radio now bleats, "Either you're for us, or your aganst us!" How pitiful is that? How pitiful is this George Bush character? How much more 'unamerican' can you get?

His legacy will be 35,000 troops permanently stationed in Iraq.

The planned "cost" of the war of Iraq was to total $50 Billion. Clearly, we went a hair overbudget.

That's a nice little souvenir Bush left us with.

He is the first president to appoint a programmable robot as Secretary of State.

He is the only Prez to have his daughters escorted out of a foreign country for terrible behavior.

I can think of several things. Have a great night!!

Mountains of national debt, two wars, subversions of our sacred liberties for temporary security, ignorance toward boarder security. Those are just the ones off the top of my head.

Trillions of dollars of debt.
And that is beyond dispute even from the most hardcore supporters.

Can't mix apples and oranges, sweetheart.

So. . . .you DON'T want Homeland Security to protect our ports and airports? You DO??? Costs money, ya know. Hafta hire people. Expands government. Thats OK??

. . . .OH, I see. . .You Do want safety for Americans. You do approve of the liberation of Iraq, just as Hillary and her co-horts voted. You just want to bash your president.

If this were a Democratic President, the Debt would be 10 times as much, the war would be lost, and you'd be wearing a burkah.
