I like his determination and courage to root out the terrorists from the middle east, and his agenda to spread freedom, Democracy, Liberty, and Justice across the world. He is one the greatest presidents in the U.S history. http://360.yahoo.com/profile-Uwq_ukY9bqWk11ObcVPprgnHbd0SbHAd6g6XcGiv

Here is a brief description of the might Aircraft carrier

Perhaps the first ship of the next class of carriers will be the USS Bill Clinton. It will boast the ability to steer a course straight down the middle, but will have a tendency to veer to the left or toward large sums of money. It will be fueled by an unending supply of testosterone, which perpetually replenishes itself. Its presence will always be marked by chaos and destruction, but there will never be enough evidence to prove that it was really there. Maintenance of this class will be a nightmare as items will constantly disappear from the aircraft and wardroom furniture will mysteriously vanish.

Its sister ship, the USS Hillary Rodham, will easily steer to the left or to the right, if you know what I mean. Keeping decklogs on this ship will be difficult, as there will be no knowledge of having been anywhere or having done anything. This ship will also run on testosterone

As an engineer, I would say liquified or gasified coal is our best bet. We have a huge supply of it here in the U.S. and large advances in technology have lead to coal being as clean burning as natural gas.

Some other popular choices....

Wind technology - we don't have the land area for it to completely replace oil, but I'd like to see it cover about 10% of U.S. energy demands.

Nuclear - Our best option next to coal, large cost if mistakes happen but they chances are pretty remote. I'd like to see about 30% of energy go to this

Hydro- we're pretty much maxed out on this one

Solar - we need MUCH larger advances in this field before we can even consider it

Ethonol - Flat out terrible fuel. It costs more energy to produce it than you get out of it. It's crazy to even consider it.

The media seems to think he says to "kill all infidels", but I haven't seen any quote of him saying that...

Can someone give their personal view to enrichen this thread.

Mexican Consulate concerned about arrests in Irving (TX)
More than 300 illegal immigrants are being deported every month from Irving because of the city’s increased scrutiny of the immigration status of people arrested, according to the city’s mayor.

The Mexican consul general has expressed concern after members of his staff found that half of all the Mexicans they interviewed in an immigration jail last Saturday were arrested in Irving. He said he suspects racial profiling.

But Irving officials said that last Saturday’s arrests were part of an effort to target apartment complexes with high crime rates, not illegal immigrants. The deportations came from the jail staff’s efforts to identify people who should be referred to federal immigration officials.

“If somebody’s arrested, it is because they have committed an arrestable offense,” Gears said. “Our police officers do not check for papers or documentation of citizenship.”

What does a person from Mississippi have in common with someone from Oregon? Or a city dweller in Chicago with a farmer in Kansas? Given it's political leanings, would New York and New England be more comfortable in a confederation with Canada? It could be argued that a person from Alabama doesn't even speak the same language as a person from Maine. Thoughts?
