While I personally believe that Bush's conduct and willful flouting of the Constitution merits impeachment, unfortunately the math (numbers in the Senate and House) as well as political timidity on the Democrats' part probably make this an unlikely event. Note that impeachment simply means getting a vote to censure the President for the purpose of removing him from office. To remove a President from office, IIRC there needs to be a 2/3 majority in both houses of Congress to vote accordingly.

The Democrats don't have enough votes to do an impeachment - they have a very slim majority in both the House and the Senate. If they can't get even get their bills on Iraq passed, it's even harder to push an impeachment thing to the ultimate path of removing him from office.

The reason why George W. Bush has NOT been impeached yet is because the Atlanta Hawks have not won the National Basketball Association Championship yet. You see, the Atlanta Hawks will win the NBA Championship before George W. Bush is impeached and since the Atlanta Hawks are most likely not going to be favored to win the NBA Championship anytime soon, Bush will not be impeached anytime soon.

Also, if the Atlanta Hawks do win the NBA Championship in 2008, it will be too late to impeach President Bush because of the 2008 Presidential Election.

The media particularly FOX News seem to love him. That could be because they are owned by Zionists and Bush does what ever AIPAC tells him to do. If Bush's failures and malfeasances aren't put on the 6 o'clock news the public doesn't care.

Do you never get sick of this crap.

Probably because he hasn't done anything to be impeached for nor has anyone provided anything that can even be concerned serious concerns for impeachment. Do give it a rest

Because the Democrats in Congress do not have a large enough majority to impeach.

In addition, to impeach you must show that a president committed high crimes and misdemeanors. Bush has done some questionable things, but has not committed any high crimes and misdemeanors.

First of all it was never on the table because there are too many Republicans to obstruct any such effort. Second, it is better to leave him and Cheney alone. Let them continue the corruption and screw-ups all it does is help the Democrats.

Are we supposed to guess the reasons why you think he should be impeached are? RELAX, a new republican will be in office before you know it.

Because it would require a large number of republicans to cooperate and support it. Without that support there is no point in the Dem's initiating the process.
