My partner works as a driver, he wants a skilled trade but cannot fund the retraining. We are not eligible for any help with college fees etc and can't get a career developement loan as we don't have a good credit rating.

As a result he cannot get a well paid job.

We can't emigrate as you have to have a skilled trade to be useful to another country.

So what can we do to have a better life? Is there any help for those like us?

When Elizabeth 1st was on the throne she ruled the country taking advice from her prime minister - it does'nt seem to be like that anymore, margaret thatcher, tony blair, now gordon brown appear to make up the rules and present them to the Queen as a done deal - have we ever heard about the Queen saying "actually i don't think thats law is a good idea" - i would like to see the Queen and Prince Charles making decisions for the good of the country - who rules this country Queen or government? are we a dictatorship? Do we have a president? or are we still the united KINGDOM?

Creamy layers mean politicians, mafia barons, priestly class and the super rich. The GOP (Senate Republicans) say they support our troops, but they don't want them to return home from Iraq to spend more time with their family and give them a break from the war. It is seriously despicable and hypocritical.

Russia will defend Iran if Bush attacks them.

Bush is slowly letting Iran take soke blame for incidents in Iraq.

Members of bush are leaving to undisclosed secure places like Dubai.

And don't forget our military is safe and sound in Iraq rather than here in the US. This allots for a military to function after annihilation by Russia.

I keep hearing over and over cons complaining about taxes. "don't rais my taxes". "Blame Clinton, he raised taxes". "Read my lips, no new taxes" yeah we get the lies there in.

Any way, if you con jobs are so unpatriotic as to pay your fair share of taxes for public beaches, public school, public roads, public restrooms, public bridges, etc. Then stay off or out of them. Don't go using this patriot's countries schools. Don't go swimming at this patriot's public beach. Don't use this patriot's public restrooms.

Matter of fact if you cons are so unpatriotic to support this country, GO LIVE IN IRAQ. You prefer to allow Bush to funnel tax dollars to Iraq any way. Go join in. I'm sure you will love the great Iraqi dessert and roadside bombs.

Take off and leave the country you choose to neglect. Now who is the TRUE FREE LOADERS?

Israel receives more foreign aid from the US than any other country.
The US has had its eyes on Cuba for decades.
We have spent billions trying to buy Iraq.
Maybe overthrowing Hugo Chavez in Venezuela?
There are more Mexicans in the US than we can count.
Maybe invading Cananda would not be such a bad idea. We look alike and we speak virtually the same language?

I belive the people of the past and those in lands far away in terrible conditions have view towards life. The hardship they suffered. Forced Immigration, Famine, World Wars, the Depression, threats of Nucular war. Seems to have created good people. People to look up to. Kids today have it so easy. Being a teenage myself I know it. They don't appreciate because they haven't had to struggle or fight to make a better life. I look at the life my father gave to me and I honestly think I'm not taking full advantage of my situation. When he says you can be anything we want to be, I just didn't belive it then but now I do.
