He files for federal taxes like anyone else. Texas doesn't have a State income tax. But they do have a property tax which he has to pay for his Crawford home.

He has the same tax requirements as the military. You pay taxes to the state in which lived in when you enlisted. This is true because the president is the commander in chief of the military.

i think it would be along the lines like the military where your stationed in one state but you pay only the state taxes for your home of record. In his case he wouldnt pay because tx aint got state taxes so just federal

Thanks tedex for the link.. Will everybody please check out GWB tax years 2001 and 2002. In 2001 he did not apply any estimated tax money(line 69) but his 2002 tax form(line63) shows 170,000 was applied. I want his accountant to do my taxes that way nice tax credit. Will have to check the following years to see if this continues. Wow estimated tax payments are inflated every year??? Need to check with a tax prep??? whats going on here???

i'm able to work out this from the two angles. i'm a parent who sends my infants to non-public college. it would be severe high quality to get a tax wreck yet i'm able to work out how the wide-unfold public college might choose the money taxes supply. and finding at it that way people who have not got any infants might desire a tax wreck besides and what approximately whilst infants attain the age to be out of school might mom and dad then get tax breaks?

It would be the same for him as it would be for anyone else. You pay the taxes for the state you claim residency. You can only have one resident state at a time.

Im pretty sure the pres does not have to pay taxes. But he still has to file.

There is no income tax in Texas, so I don't think he has to file for state taxes, just federal.

No, you can only claim one, and I am sure it is Texas!.

He claims to have paid 285,000 on essentially 1.2 million and got a $20,000 refund, with another 2 million in the bank he paid nothing on!

Of course, everything is paid for him from food to servants to home! Plus all transportation!
