I belive the people of the past and those in lands far away in terrible conditions have view towards life. The hardship they suffered. Forced Immigration, Famine, World Wars, the Depression, threats of Nucular war. Seems to have created good people. People to look up to. Kids today have it so easy. Being a teenage myself I know it. They don't appreciate because they haven't had to struggle or fight to make a better life. I look at the life my father gave to me and I honestly think I'm not taking full advantage of my situation. When he says you can be anything we want to be, I just didn't belive it then but now I do.

Chaotic events only make people gasp and temporarily see their lives as the waste they really are.. but that too soon fades back to being fine with the way things are and worrying about stuff to buy or being perfect etc..

The few people who can move past the shock of a chaotic event and into actively fighting to make things better (i.e. not wasting what life you have) do make a difference. Being Christian I have little faith in the "human" ability to "evolve" past weaknesses. When the world is wiped free of evil, I hope to see many more than just a few people made it....

You're right. This is the land of plenty, and most people manage to live reasonably well. The gap between the rich and poor is getting wider, so you'd better start planning right now. Go to college...without a good education, you'll be on the "outside lookin' in". It sounds as though you are at least beginning to appreciate what you have and to realize that your parents are smarter than you thought. Right?

A truly chaotic event here in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.............Politically Correct.

Hahahahahaha

Even some of the toughest street thugs would run screaming like Big Sissy Girls.
Most people would be so f*king busy arguing over which political party to blame they would die in their own homes.

Do you really think that for one moment the US could pull together for ONE COMMON CAUSE !!!

Beware of the illegal alien gaining on your American dream, soon to be sold out, given away, or relocated just beyond your reach by the leaches in our nation's capitol.
The chaotic event may be in your own neighborhood. We should know what is happening in our own localities, so we can participate intelligently in our own government.

Congratulations. You are showing some wisdom. I think the US is the greatest country on earth. We have it all and should be thankful, every day.
