Several of Israel's enemies are on the threshold of gaining the technology required to destroy the small, isolated country. Given that the US and Israel will not be able to stop them forever, what will the US do when the final battle comes?

The US has supported and supplied Israel through all her wars, but has never intervened militarily to assist her. Will they change that practice? Could the US respond with sufficient force in the time required? Would the US retaliate against any nuclear strike against Israel? I don't see them sending ground troops into Iran, Syria or Pakistan to seek revenge. With the requirements of Afghanistan and Iraq, the US simply does not have the troops, even if they chose to do so.

What will the US do?

Since when does a mastery of one group's superstitious stories qualify you as a smart, compassionate, innovative human being deserving of adoration?
It doesn't. It just shows how stupid people are for letting a liar tell them what to do.

I have to answer this question for my english 3 honors class.
and i'm just completely lost, i don't get it at all. And i really need an example for it....
If anyone can help please do. I'm desperate! = /

In sports, in politics, and in war, people often demonize their opponent that is; they portray their enemies as incarnations of evil. Can you think of examples? Why do you think people do this? What effect do you think such behavior has on society as a whole?

Not being willing to go into someones vagina the way that republicans want to, didn't he essentially condone abortion. Which believe it or not did happen at that period in history as well. Or are republicans just smarter than him?

Is the minimum wage (as set by the federal government) unconstitutional? I can't find the worlds "MInimum Wage" in it, and it would therefore be prohibited by the 10th Amendment. Please don't patronize me with the general welfare argument, because it does not benefit the general welfare, it benefits (if that's how you want to see it) the welfare of a minority of the population. Also, should the government tell private businesses how they should be run? Please answer the question directly.

I talk to people from a wide range of political backgrounds who feel that the news has nothing intellectually stimulating. Debates on CNN, FOX, MSNBC, etc... tend to be nothing more than shouting matches. Anyone agree, disagree??? I hold some liberal and conservative beliefs.

Of course it doesn't. But i'd like to hear your insane rantings of CIA and boogeyman shananigans.

What good would it do to have a nuclear power run by religious whackos? Draw the world into a nuclear war? that accomplishes what? Big oil can't make money if half the world is destroyed in nuclear war.

Yeah it's like Bin Laden is dead and being used a puppet, but not the "neocons", rather the islamo fascists.

Try to use reason and logic in your answer and not merely attacks or personal insults as you are prone to do. Also try to answer the question which you rarely if ever do!!!

thank you.

And if you do, why? Have you consider the facts? Here are my reason that USA is not the best. And I am an American so I'm being Truthful!

1. Oil prices hit sky high when we have plenty of reserve here in the U.S. to lower it to only 1 dollar a gallon. If you don't believe me have u consider that some parts of South America is only paying 17 CENTS a Gallon???!!!

2. Bush stole the election twice with his Brother the Governor in Florida as the primary reasons why he won the election??!! That's like hitting a lottery ticket twice in a row the the same combination of numbers.

3. All TERRORISTS are only after U.S. ! Is that a coincidence? You still don't believe me? Ask yourself this question, if every single terrorist has only ONE nuclear bomb where do you think they will use that at??

4. NO NATIONAL HEALTH CARE IN THIS COUNTRY And we're suppose to be the richest and most developed country in the WHOLE WORLD! And yet the OIL companies are getting RICH beyond ridiculous???

He has announced his retirement, from the Senate, and said that he leaves with as much enthusiasm as he started with. He also said that he hopes to have the opportunity to serve the country in some other capacity.
His approval ratings in Nebraska are near 60%. So there is a good chance that he would have been reelected to the Senate.
Apparently his health is not an issue. So what do you think? Do you think he'll run for President as an independent?

Over time havent we seen what looks like republicans starting to think about this war and see it as the failure it is, and make it seem in their interviews that they really want change and they care about our troops and lack of political progress, and all that.

Well, what happens when it comes time to actually voting?

A simple measure that would give troops equal time at home as they are deployed .. IS ACTUALLY WHATS BEST for the troops.
Yet Republicans dont even allow that.

Judge these republicans on how they vote.
Not how they talk on their interviews.
