as jesus said: I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. Matthew 19:24

Were it not for the driven entrepreneurs willing to take the risk in pursuit of reward...we'd be a land of workers...with distended bellies and nothing to do but shoo the flies away from our runny eyes.

Wow. I might ask the same question about democrats that support baby murdering abortion. FYI - the eye of the needle refers to a very low entry in a wall around a city. the camel gets through it by kneeling, the same way a rich man must get on his knees in humility to get into heaven.

I'm with you there! It's like they go out of their way to ignore the teachings of Christ, and focus on his violent death, (ie: Mel's Passion of the Christ) or everything from the old testament. In my mind, Jesus lived among men to tell them that those ideas were not what they should be focusing on. That we should love and accept everyone. Not make war and condemn "sinners". Hello? we're all sinners! Nothing we can do about it! Guess that wasn't so much an answer as a rant....

Gee alot of preachers have never read that in the bible I'm sure...well politicians are just taking their chances and maybe Republicans know something the rest of us don't know...Maybe hell is better than we are led to believe..and the rich just say who ever has the most toys wins...What do I believe?? Well remember that little weazal in the movie The Mummy who wore all the necklaces with the religious tokens ...he found the right one to save himself with and kissed the feet of the corrupted not thinking any more than survival...well it never hurts to know prayers for peace in any language and maybe Amitaba Buddha is the one! or maybe it is our Christian version of heaven and hell...but the thing every religion has in common is that love and compassion are the best way to have peace...and a good life...

Money hungry war backers? Does the bible say to submit to Islam, let them kill you, do nothing? The war in Iraq and Afganistan is not making money for republicans. Your quote from jesus has nothing to do with your question. Republicans care about america, that's why we want to WIN. Are you muslim perhaps?
