I doubt it ever will. It's hard for me to understand at times myself. All I know is it used to be something to be a millionaire. Now it's nothing. When I was born a brand new car cost less than 2,000. You can have a bucket load of money but it's worthless if it's still not enough to buy basic things. Our money was backed by gold....it's not anymore. Right now they are working with not much more than a charge card and no means to pay it. Forget it when other countries want to cash in their American money. Last I heard the dollar was really only worth....can't remember if it was 4 or 40 cents. Either way.....not worth much.

It's more than GWB.

When it's backed by something other than hot air.

The dollar is currently based on the US GNP. Until we get our economy in order, you might as well invest in euros.

You must be a Canadian.

The declining dollar isn't that bad really. It makes imports more expensive and our exports cheaper.

If you are a factory working in the US, it hasn't fallen far enough.

When the US work ethic goes up...and the morals of our elected leaders go up...I could go on and on but I think you get it.

DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH. WITH OUR TRADE IMBALANCE IT'S ADVANTAGEOUS TO THE USA TO HAVE A WEAK DOLLAR. THAT WAY IT HELPS THE BALANCE OF TRADE.
