it is painfully obvious that democratic interests do NOT follow those best for this country. so now that we know this, what to do about it? why do we continue to allow them to destroy everything this once great country stood for?
as there isn't any republican candidate for president that will actually do anything to change this situation, is it time to take matters into our own hands?
i suggest a military coup for starters...

I am 24. At the beginning of this year, I made a very valuable mistake by going into a grocery store and taking 25.00 worth of food. I bought some things, but took the things that I could not afford. I had no lawyer or defense, because I was scared and had never done anything like this, so I didn't know what to do. I've heard that based on the cost of the goods taken, the judge would be more lenient. Now I have a record for petty theft, I got 3 years of probation, and had to pay a fine of $310.00. I was cool with everything except the 3 years of probation. Now I can't get this sh!t expunged for another 2 years and 5 months. I'm 24 and can't stay at this sh!t job for $9.50 an hour and not afford college. I've had jobs my whole life and can't even apply at some temp agency due to having a misd. for petty theft. I don't want to sell myself short, but at this point, nobody will hire me and I can't afford school (financial aid turned me down). Should I strip for a minute? Need to eat.

There have been two recent back-to-back news stories involving police who applied a taser to suspects (one a man, one a woman) who were already restrained with cuffs. Is this what it appears to be?

I'm writing a paper and would like to know your thoughts on how Hawaii as a state has been or can be an advantage to the US.

I will not plagiarize or copy your answers. I'm only interested in collecting different points of view in order to develop my understanding on the subject more fully.

Your help is much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

US troops during the Vietnam war had almost the exact same "US Rules of engagement" that US troops in Iraq have today.

And guess what, not only do those rules put US troops at much greater risk of being killed or wounded, they keep US troops from winning wars they should win relatively easily.

How the hell can US politicans send US troops into wars in which US troops can't use all of their training/gear to kill the enemy?

And it ain't the libs who make the Rules it's the Pentagon/White House. Why is Bush/US Generals stabbing US troops in Iraq in the back with their rules which gets them killed & will never allow them to win the war?

The increased number of foreclosures and the fact that minimum wage can't keep up with the cost of living are just two signs of the middle class disappearing. Is the world really becoming those that have and those that have nots?

And most importantly are you worried?

Then that way there would be no more drafts or terminations towards deathrow inmates. And if they survive and come back they can earn there freedom again. Wouldn't that be a good idea? Maybe somehow have the deathrow inmates get some kind of training or something. If they serve they're years in war then they get to be a free man once again, & have another chance at life. Is that a great idea? Whats your guys opinion?
