The US government did break a lot of treaties they entered into with Native Amercians, but believe it or not there is a government entity that deals with that very aspect, it is called the Bureau of Indian affairs and their job is to determine what was promised and what was not delivered and how to make amends.
I do not understand the reference to employing large numbers of Native Americans, is there a problem with hiring Native Americans?

The united states government is huge, I am sure they employ a lot of different races so what is your problem.
What Is this promise you are talking about that they broke. Thy have lied and broken promises its entire existence as a country.

Why not employ native Americans, we are the backbone of this country. I don't want anyone else getting these jobs, and especially those from Mexico. Native Americans are not only Indian they are Blacks and Whites who formed this country.

Why shouldn't they? The white man did rape their lands.
But I digress, I wasn't aware that they disproportionately hired them. Do you have some stats?
Are you surprised that the government breaks its promises?Where have you been?

Nice work if you can prove 1/32nd ancestery to Indians (Injuns or as Chiefette Mankiller says, "In-dins") I like to say states and such like the inhabitants.
I thought 99% were pigmentally gifted.
