Bush said Saddam killed all the Mandelas...wtf do you think that means?
It means exactly what he said, he means he is incorrect.

Bush meant to make the point that any Mandela-like figures in Iraq had been killed by Hussein. First, this is specious in itself, but whatever. Second, Bush makes this kind of idiotic mistake all of the time. He's an embarrassment. Third, when John Kerry accidentally misread a joke and seemed to say that people join th military because they are stupid, the right was all over it, so if the left picks on Bush a little for this one, too bad.

For one thing, it was obvious what Kerry meant to say, but Bush was so far afield on this one, that only after hearing what he could have meant could anybody hope to see that it was a mistake.

Somebody else just asked this question and got a solid answer. he was not talking about Nelson Mandela, stop looking for excuses to call President Bush stupid.

He made a mistake, or he probably hasn't spoken to him, in a while. Who knows, nervous perhaps.
