Who says they can't? I think as long as the US acts like a colonial power the chance of the Arabian nations uniting is growing greater every day. When I hear the politicians talking about how many troops are going to stay in Iraq for a long term or, we should replace the existing government in Iraq & statements of this order, I cringe. If that's not acting like a country talking about their colony I don't know what is. If you think those people don't know our bottom line is their oil, think again. What do you think this fighting is about?

Are you really this west-worldphobic??? Why can't the Christians unite and protect themselves from attack? Why can't the Jews rise up and take what's theirs?
Grow up and realise the Christians aren't attacking you. Neither are the Jews, the Hindu's, the Bhuddists or the Scientologists, you tit. What is this paranoia about Muslims needing to protect all things Islamic? No other culture or religion has issued a "Holy war", I wonder why? (They're not as paranoid, you see)
Once you wake up and realise that there is no religious or holy war, just terrorists on both sides, you'll understand just what should be done to protect not just Islamic countries but all countries from this kind of question.

Same reason the American Indians couldn't - too busy fighting petty wars with each other, rather than looking at a bigger picture. Most Islamic countries have many sects and off-shoots, Iraq has more than just Shiites, Sunni's and Kurds. There are many more, some are being "cleansed" now. Do they care that American soldiers are around? No, they just keep on killing each other, much like the American natives did, and they got rolled. They were divided, so they got conquered. Arabs tend to be non-loyal neighbors, they'll turn you in for a reward, or serve you a sumptuous dinner if you do them a favor...but don't turn your back on them for an instant. There are plenty of parallels with native American Indians, in distrust of each other, clan wars, etc. Same with Middle Eastern culture. Europeans were much more inclined to trade with each other than kill each other. Not that they didn't do both, just that they managed to get along better, and kept improving their lives. Those who act petty and isolationist, eventually gets their butts handed to them by bigger groups of people. Fact.

There is a union of islamic countries.OPEC is one of them. But among islamic countries there is no unity. There is fight between Shias and Sunnis.Muslims are religious minded and study of science is not popular. So technologically they are backward. For Islamic Bomb they have to borrow technology.Pakistan stealed technology from the West.If Islam is united and acquire bombs all other religions and countries will be wiped out and only Islam will prevail.Thank God.

Good question because most are artificial states created after the British left, the have been mostly conquered by Ottoman and then British, hence the countries are not built by much logical and pay little or no attention to ethnicity, tribal, or religious sect. But countries like Turkey and Iran dont have the same problems, neither do Asian countries like Malaysia and Indonesia.

You mean like they all united and intervened to protect Kuwait? Or sent in peace-keeping forces to stop the carnage in the Iraq-Iran war? Could it be too much self-interest and lack of courage in facing the allies in open conflict perhaps. In the 'mother of all battles', the Republican Guard didn't even turn up! In various conflicts with a small state like Israel, any six Arab nations were soundly thrashed and sent packing, tail between their legs. Help me out here..I'm struggling for answers! LOL

Here's another question that doesn't partition people based on religion. Why can't everyone is the world gang up on a single invader?
Separating people dogmatically based on religion can be a very, very dangerous thing.

Well they should all unite. But this mean all muslims going back to their country of origin. Then promising to stay there and not come out irritating us any more. End of war end of problem.
Thats not going to happen though because that would mean giving up the free speech ( Only the english are exempt from using it at the moment ), benefits and council houses.
They will not do any of that though.
