In the article below, it only hints that there is a divide between democrats. Can anyone tell me what the factions are in the democrat party that vote for war, and against war?

the senators you are referring to are the ones who vote whichever way they think the wind is blowing.

right after sept 11 they were all about solidarity, but the next month they were back to their old ways.

when the war was popular, they were all for it.
when it was not popular, they were against it.

see; i voted for the way in iraq before i voted against it. that says a lot

some want to cut all funding for the war...

others want to have a more organized pull out with timelines and goals... which is actually what most campaigned on in the last elections

I don't think anyone is "for war"
