Good odds -- it all depends on how much people are willing to eventually sit down at the table and talk....
Or how much apathy is rampant -- and whether the apathy level is sufficient high that the seething anger doesn't do more than occasionally bubble or churn the surface.
Civil war requires people to be more than angry -- it requires people to care enough to overcome their apathy and actually do something about the problem. That remains to be seen.

No. People today in western democracies don't take up arms in conflict against each other. No serious politician in America would lead a military campaign against other Americans.
Plus, the military strength of America is much more centralized now than around the Civil War. No party revolting could withstand the military.
I should add also that people today are largely whining and uninformed. During the Civil War era people had a personal interest in the outcome of the war. They also considered themselves members of their respective states first and then Americans second. We tend to think of ourselves as Americans first and members of our respective states second.

No, the vast majority of Americans are either two disinformed or too lazy to engage in anything so drastic as a civil war.
If they can't drive through and get it or type it into the computer, it probably won't happen.

Given the way that the libs are so extremely anti-war, that would be the shortest war in world history. Who's going to fight for the libs? Barry Manilow?

When the right talks about civil war they mean dictatorship coup. Just like when they talk about freedom for Iraq, they mean imposition of thoughts. If not then why the necessity of a civil war? What happen with democracy?

Are you kidding me? Petty arguments about the environment, gun laws, abortion and other "hot" topics are not going to spawn a second Civil War.
I mean, seriously...
