Some of us are not religious and oppose abortion simply on the grounds of it's being torturous murder.... I have no idea what Jesus thinks about it.
To the guy above... who thinks all Republicans prefer men... not true, I am not a "bottom contributor" ... it doesn't interest me at all.

First of all, Jesus is God!!!!!! Secondly, Republicans don't do that. Third, in the Bible God said Thou shalt not kill, which obviously means abortion is sin. Fourth, God created YOU. Can you create someone? Can you SPEAK THE WORLD INTO EXISTENCE. Read the Bible! No one is smarter than God. - A Christian

I don't think he condoned abortion; I just don't think he condemned it. As far as I can tell, Jesus wasn't much of one for condemning people. That's pretty much humanity's job these days. Of course, I'm not a religious person, so my view of Jesus could be totally wrong--loving, helpful, caring...
I do enjoy your phrasing "go into someone's vagina." It brings up a much more offensive and degrading image than most discussions of pro-choice vs pro-life.

Like the Tax Collector and the Pharasee both making an offering at the temple... You assume too much. It's not only about the sin of killing an unborn child, it is also about taking no responsibility for your actions -- or at least being held accountable.

Actually, the Bible never mentions abortion one way or the other. And doesn't say when--or whether (before birth) a fetus becomes a human being.
Of course, that doesn't bother the religious right. For all their noise--their actions make it clear they aren't really Christians. Right, Rev. Haggard?

Apparently American Christians are even smarter than Christ.
They believe in the old testament, and he thought those were just parables.
They love the money lenders and the warriors and he chased them out of the temple.
And when he suggested they should render unto Caeser ONLY that which was Caesers, they just decided everything belongs to Caeser.
Poor deluded guy. Guy that's what you get for being 2000 years old.

um jesus never said anything about abortions. in fact, the bible says nothing of abortions either. so your question is quite pointless. religion and politics should never mix.
