Yes, he started another Vietnam, and that is inexcusable.

You asked a very loaded question. People have different views on President Bush and his abilities. I used to think that he was the better candidate. Now, after time has elapsed (in his second term), I am beginning to see the light. He isn't ALL bad, but I am one of those supporting the campaign to bring the troops home. Let Iraq and the middle east (in general) sort through their own problems. They've been doing it since the beginning of time. The United States (and the president) needs to butt out and let them either succeed or fail. It really, truly has no bearing on us. I think to continually offer up our troops as a sacrifice - it's wrong.

I hope the next President elected will be able to do something to right that wrong.

Elissa?? Bill Clinton had an affair while he was in the White House...first he denied it, then he finally admitted to it. Now, his wife is running for President! His wife doesn't get very much respect from me automatically for staying with that cheating piece of garbage.

I don't think he is nessisarily a bad president. I don't think he is a great president though. Unemployment is as low as it was during the clinton administration. That is saying something considering that his term saw the aftermath of 2 major hurricanes and 9-11. There is a record numbers of homeowners including record numbers of MINORITY homeowners (Although they are at a variable intrest rate). Minority business ownership is at an all-time high. I am not saying he is a good president he's just not as bad as the media would like you to believe. A bad president sells more stories than a mediocre one.

Ok as a Brit in the UK I can only call it as I see it.

Did he or did he not get reelected for a second term with one of the largest majorities in US history? So I guess the majority of the American people believe he is doing something right.

From what I can see he has been an OK war time leader. Don't forget, we (the Brits) disowned Churchill the minute WWII was over. American history will judge him well I think. If not, it makes the American people look completely stupid.

Yes. He embroiled the country in a war based on false pretenses (which he *knew* were false), has deliberately lied to the country, refuses to listen to experts on any policy issues, and won't reevaluate his policies and strategies even when it's clear they're not working.

He has broken the law, tried to stretch presidential powers way past their constitutional limit, and is far to reliant on cronies and pals.

He has lost sight of the fight against terrorism in his rush to invade Iraq (two completely unrelated things, despite what the administration tried to convince us of); the economy is falling apart; and he's abandoned any of the "compassion" he claimed when he was first campaigning, cutting support for those living in poverty, health insurance for children, and screwing up the US educational system.

He's far more worthy of impeachment than Bill Clinton was.

No Bush didn't start the war. The voters of the politics did. Since they were so angry after 9/11, the senators voted and as a result we went to war. They were just in a really bad mood and wanted to invade the country Iraq. Now it's a mess, and they regret it. Especially Hilary Clinton. If the war went well then Hilary Clinton would be proud that she voted 'Yes' to go to war. She is just going for what the people 'want to hear'.

Thats why people think the Americans are stupid, because people like the ones above hate their own leader. At least give a reason why, then I would have respect for your opinion.

Yes. First of all he was elected into government by fraud. he was the first president to be booed on his journey into the white house. if it wasn't for 9/11 Bush would have been voted off a long time ago and recognized as a bad president.

That is a leading question...

I am pushed to say Yes but logical thinking prevents me doing so..for I am not an American..

BUT his actions are at present affecting the running of my country(or maybe it is the corrupt leaders here..)..So, i'll say that he is a Bad president to a country that has the power to influence the lives of billions of people world wide..
