And if you do, why? Have you consider the facts? Here are my reason that USA is not the best. And I am an American so I'm being Truthful!
1. Oil prices hit sky high when we have plenty of reserve here in the U.S. to lower it to only 1 dollar a gallon. If you don't believe me have u consider that some parts of South America is only paying 17 CENTS a Gallon???!!!
2. Bush stole the election twice with his Brother the Governor in Florida as the primary reasons why he won the election??!! That's like hitting a lottery ticket twice in a row the the same combination of numbers.
3. All TERRORISTS are only after U.S. ! Is that a coincidence? You still don't believe me? Ask yourself this question, if every single terrorist has only ONE nuclear bomb where do you think they will use that at??
4. NO NATIONAL HEALTH CARE IN THIS COUNTRY And we're suppose to be the richest and most developed country in the WHOLE WORLD! And yet the OIL companies are getting RICH beyond ridiculous???

To answer some of your questions:
Yes oil prices are higher in Europe but they don't drive freaking GIANT suv's and HUMMERS! and they have cars everywhere that gets over 60mpg. What's with HUMMER? It's a freaking miliatry vehicle!
Yes, The terrrorists are attacking other countries mostly because they sided with U.S.
The Europeans don't pay that much more in taxes like everyone think they do. We pay sales taxes where some Europe don't have sales tax on clothings and food to go.

To PFO: What quality care? You're just hearing what you want to hear just like brain washed Americans who think that only 10 thousand Iraqis died since the Gulf war! It's over 600 thousand and climbing. It's the same with health care and drugs. Canada is much cheaper with the same drugs we can get here but our government wouldn't allow that so that they can make money off taxes. Some parts of Europe may even have cures of Diabetes but wouldn't allow that to enter the U.S.? Once again all because of money.

To Elizabeth P: Why did you choose China and Russia only? We're talking about the subject of USA being the best country and I'm saying it isn't. Sure there are other countries that sux but there are plenty more equal or better. How can u and others who I called typical narrowed minded Americans think like so small. This is the reason why most don't like us. If we humble a little even if we think we're the best other's wouldn't hate us as much. It's our small, only us, attitude that's causing the rift. Don't you think?

for now it is still better than china russia and even most eurpeonean countries. of course that is subtly and slowly changing. I still can type whatever I want, go to my religious meetings without harassment, and plant whatever I want or go where I want, without have to get permission, I read that in some countries you have to pay taxes on your gardens. that is aweful. and I am not forced to pay per mile taxes on my car YET!
oil prices are based on the market, which incidently is manipulated by the wealthy through government controls and through deliberatly keeping competition low and supplies low.
Why do you think they so desperatly want oil control in iraq and other countries? it is money. oil is being used a money now, and if you can keep a monopoly on a product with a high demand you can name your price.
yes he stole the elections and has commited high crimes, but what can you do? he has the power (military, police, and congress is not opposing him). by the way I just read that if free trade was real then health care costs would go down, we wouldnt need national health care system that is expensive because laws are on the books that don't allow competition or limits competition for professionals like doctors. if doctors were allowed (who qualified medically) to exercise free movement (free trade) like illegal aliens, then the supply of doctors would increase and cost would go down. it would be easier for people to afford it.

1. It's all about supply and demand. You demand a lot and you will pay more for it. We have an incredible industrial complex in the U.S. with a constant demand for energy so it's natural for prices to be higher here. Inversely, Brazil for example, has much lower demand - probably because of their use of ethanol - so oil is cheaper there.
2. I voted for the candidates that lost in both elections (Kerry & Gore) and accept the election results fair & square. Frankly, I feel that you and the other sore losers need to get over this. It has been debated ad nauseum and settled already.
3. Other responses have already pointed out what an idiotic statement this was.
4. Socialized medicine has already proven to be a failure around the world. As broke as you might think our system is, it's far better than most. What does the Oil company statement have to do with this? Get a grip already!!

1 -- That reserve is being stored for emergencies, such as if oil ran out or we had sanctions against us preventing the import of oil. There's only enough in there to supply the US for about a week.... using it now to lower gas prices slightly would be incredibly irresponsible.
2 -- Bush may have stole the elections, but the funny business in 2004 probably occurred in Ohio, not Florida.
3 -- Madrid bombings, Bali nightclub bombings, London subway bombings, and bin Laden just declared Jihad against Pakistan. Frankly, you don't know what you are talking about on this one.
4 -- And? If every other country jumped off the socialist bridge, would you? Whenever anyone wants quality care, they come here, why is that?

Well lets answer these one at a time
!. Compared to most countries, the US has much lower gas prices.
2. Bush stole neither election and if you still believe that try doing a little research of your own. Every organization that tried to prove just that came up with the same conclusion, Bush won fair and square.
3. I don't know anyone that believes number 3, that is just a stupid assertion.
4. Personally, I don't want to pay more in taxes to have to wait months for an operation when one can be had here now in a week or less. Here watch this: http://www.onthefencefilms.com/video/deadmeat/deadmeat.html

Is this hate on the US day or did I miss the memo?
1: I think it's better if the gasoline prices go up; get people to stop using it as much. Europe still costs more comparitively, so...?
2: And where's the proof? You can cry about it, but until you find SOMETHING that gives 100% proof, than I will listen to you.
3: What about Denmark, Spain, Britain, Germany, Russia, Israel... Dennmark had that dude killed, Spain's had train bombings, Germany just broke up a terrorist ring targeting them, Russia's got the rebels, Israel lives next door... heck, don't forget S. Korea and the recent hostage situation. Where've you been?
4: That's because the people don't want to pay for other people's ailments. I pay for my own, so why can't other people? I especially don't want to pay for some guy who constantly drinks. Cirrohsis!

Despite the negativity of the above question and answer, the US is still the best country in the world. When you have lived as long as I have, and seen as much as I have of the rest of the world, then one may form an opinion. The comment about Bush stealing the election shows the level of thought being sought out today. Health care? Compared to where? Canada? Ours is the best in the world. Those who hate this country need to leave it. Go live in Russia or China for a year, then you may change your tune. If you still hate the U S, then please stay out of it.

Oil prices in South America are low because those areas have excess oil. We have a shortage. That is the difference between being an exporter and an importer.
Bush stole the election. We all know that. Get over it. What are you, a patriot or something?
Terrorists are also after the Philipines, Pakastan, Afganistan, Israel, Lebenon, Greece, Russia, UK, Spain, Denmark, and probably a whole bunch of countries I can't think of at the moment.

With the newer types of insulin these days, diabetic diets aren't necessarily as restrictive as they used to be. Read here https://tr.im/a6JKm
As with any medicine or diet change, you should discuss it with your doctor. Fruits, both fresh and dried, have a natural sugar in them that will raise blood sugar levels, so be careful about eating too much. Not sure about the nuts. Moderation is always the key. I've been diabetic for 18 years and just recently changed insulin types. I love it because it gives me more freedom in when and what I eat.

No country is the best at everything. We are better than a lot of countries at certain things, and they beat us at others.
Whether you think we're the best overall depends on what is most important to you. Based on the priorities you've laid out, the answer would be no. Based on my priorities: a society that works to live instead of lives to work, I'd say no too.
