The GOP (Senate Republicans) say they support our troops, but they don't want them to return home from Iraq to spend more time with their family and give them a break from the war. It is seriously despicable and hypocritical.

They support Bush, who has gotten himself into quite the little mess. Pull out, and Iraq literally falls apart tomorrow.

Don't pull out...ever. What to do, what to do.

Well, he is out of office soon...the GOP will lose the majority in the executive branch...hopefully this Craig thing will cost the GOP a few more seats in the house and senate...then we can roll up our sleeves and best figure the mess out.

The purpose of the military is to protect the United States of America and her interests. When such troops are placed in harms way, what they require is our unflagging support and resolve to support their efforts until they are victorious.

As far as coming home to spend time with their families, well you may not like to hear it but the war would probably have already be won and most of the troops already home if the liberals had not chosen to politicize the war. By using setbacks and casualty counts to try to discredit the Commander-in-Chief, liberals have made our soldiers job more dangerous and more difficult by giving encouragement to the enemy.

The more Democrats in power attack the Commander-in-Chief, complain about the cost, rail about the casualties, expose top secret plans, exploit the few military miscreants who committed crimes, paint our troops as stupid, baby killers and rapists or as being ineffective, as long as such people beat the drum about how we cannot win, more American soldiers will be exposed to danger for a longer period of time.

If, instead, Americans stuck together and showed unshakable resolve to win this war it probably would have been over years ago. The terrorist leadership has freely admitted their belief that Americans do not have the stomach for a prolonged conflict. That we will loose heart and quit. The democrats have been seeing to that for around four of the last six years.

The answer to your question is yes, the Republicans and Senator Joe Lieberman support the troops. I am pretty sure the rest of the Democrats do not.

The argument that the applicants did no longer hear boos from the objective marketplace is staggering. maximum people have been pro campaigners, waiting to fill any probability of ineffective air with communicate. all of them have been silent, and knew precisely why there replaced right into a pause on an identical time as the commentator finished the question. each and every debater on their very own immediately desperate to allow an American soldier to be publicly disgraced, beforehand being seen as a attainable supporter of gays in the armed forces. That reaction by myself no longer in basic terms manifestly factors out a fear of no longer offending a block of voters, it additionally places them sq. with liberal voters that they are engaged on pollnumbers, no longer conviction.

Neither side supports the troops. Both sides twist the truth to make political gains. If either side really supported the troops we would not be Iraq now!
