The US and Bush knew there were NO weapons of mass destruction, so the reason was purely economical. After all, America is now nearly broke and cannot even afford to give children medical care and keep cutting the social programs to fund their frivilous war effort. The US needs the oil in Iraq and Iran, so look for an invasion of Iran next. The propaganda about weapons coming across from iran has already started. the propaganda about nuclear weapons being in Iran has also begun, just like it did with Iraq. The lie has to continue to seem effective. After all, there are still many Americans who are convinced that sadam hussein was connected with Al Qaeda and the Twin towers, and terrorist groups, none of which was ever true.

do slightly prognosis and learn slightly historic previous..... Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, especially chemical weapons. How do all of us know??? We gave them to him on a similar time as he grow to be our "best chum" interior the combat against Iran. He used chemical compounds against the Kurds. Why did bill Clinton have self assurance that Iraq had WMDs? How approximately Madeline Albright, Sandy Berger, Carl Levin, To Daschle, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi, Bob Graham, Al Gore, Ted Kennedy, Robert Byrd, Jay Rockefeller, Henry Waxman all vigorously assert that Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and posed a respected risk to the protection of u.s.? i'm guessing which you're probably 17 with out genuine existence adventure yet.

Quite personally Bush has given so many different reasons for War with Iraq, I just forgot what the new reason is. The next reason is probably that Bush wanted to create the worlds largest sandcastle.

Is was for the control of the biggest oil reserves in the world. WMD were just something said to allow us to go to war, fabricated but after 9/11 something that could be said and made to believe. Iraq freedom? We already removed Sadaam, funny years later we still haven't allowed them to set up a government. Bush owns interest in plenty of oil, now he has unlimited control over much much more.

What weapons? To date none have been found.
How is that " freedom " working for them. I recall before the US invaded and occupied, they at least had safe running water and working electricity.
No. This was about oil and Bush's meglomania.

Weapons of mass destruction.
But Bush supporters have constantly claimed it was about removing a despotic dictator--but this was *after* they discovered that their original premise for war (see above) wasn't even found months after the invasion.
Then they pressured Bush to switch it to 'spreading freedom and democracy' to the now infamous line: 'Iraq is a front line to the war on terror'.
(You'll notice that they no longer say "WMDs" in the same breath anymore.)

I saw Greenspan on the Today show say it was oil. If we hadn't gone in the price of oil would be a lot higher than it is now. It was American imperialism. I think it would have been less dear to us to have payed the higher price.

It was obvious from the beginning, and even more obvious now, that this has been all about gaining control of the 2nd largest oil reserves in the world.

What matters now is that we finish it. Quit worrying about the past, lets get on with the future. Let's do what is right now. WIN this war and come home.
