Didn't they just get more along with the so called surge?

At what point is enough - enough!

We have an economic crisis that the Feds keep bailing us out on!

Parts of our own Nation are still lying in ruin from natural disasters and they have the nerve to request billions more for Iraq!

Billions of our hard earned tax dollars to rebuild a foreign country that Bush dicided to blow up over his WMD lies!

We need to stop funding this war. It started over lies and then somehow twisted into handing out failed democracy in a civil war. We didn't go in there to play referee in their sectarian problems!

Quit sending our money over seas and start focusing on our own G***amn Nation!

Why do we have to pay because of a Presidential military blunder that seems never ending!

because i don't see a reason for females to join. it's not like they have the most options when it comes to career. and you can't really transfer what you do in the Marines into the civillian world.

Marines are known for being tough and they are the first to go to war and being in the Marines are more of a male thing. females don't need to be known as tough.

I have heard about some military program that enlists you at a young age. My boyfriend is in it. He's 15, and he's already been through Navy SEAL training and training to be a firefighter. He says it's a long and complicated story about what this program does and I just want to know more about it. Can anybody tell me more?

Black Sabbath's War Pigs

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Generals gathered in their masses,
just like witches at black masses.
Evil minds that plot destruction,
sorcerers of death's construction.
In the fields the bodies burning,
as the war machine keeps turning.
Death and hatred to mankind,
poisoning their brainwashed minds.
Oh lord, yeah!

Politicians hide themselves away.
They only started the war.
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor, yeah.

Time will tell on their power minds,
making war just for fun.
Treating people just like pawns in chess,
wait till their judgement day comes, yeah.

Now in darkness world stops turning,
ashes where the bodies burning.
No more War Pigs have the power,
Hand of God has struck the hour.
Day of judgement, God is calling,
on their knees the war pigs crawling.
Begging mercies for their sins,
Satan, laughing, spreads his wings.
Oh lord, yeah!
--Black Sabbath, War Pigs

I saw this video on youtube saying that the chinese or japanese (i cant remember exactly but it was one of those 2) were working on a stealth fighter and surpisingly enough it looked like the F-22 but in a slightly different way. The plane itself looks cool and all but i prefer the american version of it. Also I dont think that it will have the same features like the F22, does anyone else know something about it?

Well, my husband joined and went through all of his training and then 10 days after coming home from boot and AIT, He deployed. We did the paperwork at his unit 7 days before he left and they said the 7500 would be here in 4 to 6 weeks. Well, it has been 5 months and NO BONUS...NO WORD! We have resubmitted the paperwork 4 times now and each time they said give it 2 weeks and it should be there. I am sorry but this is bull %@&#. He has talked to so many people about this...accounting office, recruiter, and SGTs. I am getting really tired of getting screwed over by the Army. There was also a month where we did not get paid while he was in training. We were told that there was nothing they could do about it. We also found out about 5 months into his training that he was getting paid 400 dollars less than he was supposed to be getting paid and they cant do anything bout that either. We have lost our apartment and my car because of all the screw ups from the army. hes in iraq What can i do?

When I joined the USMC, way back when, they offered me five thousand dollars after I completed my MOS school. I turned the money down under the resolve that my honor and loyalty cannot be bought. I still joined, completed my school, served my tour.

I keep hearing these sixty thousand enlistment bonuses, or reenlistment bonuses. Is this true? Are our young being 'bought' into service? What type of person would this insentive attract? What does that say about their charater?

To this day, I still hold the resolve, my respect, loyalty and honor cannot be bought!

I know there a thousand questions about asthma, but this one is a little different. I was diagnosed with asthma as a child, it wasn't a problem as a teenager, and my doctor told me a few years ago that it probably wasn't asthma, but allergies to the family cat.

One recruiter is saying that since it was probably a misdiagnosis, the Army doesn't consider it asthma and I don't have to list it. He said that waivers are almost impossible and I shouldn't risk it.

Another recruiter said I need to list it and get a waiver, and it won't be a problem - the other recruiter is just being lazy.

Who's right?
