What is your honest opinion of the Iraqi war? Don't let being a republican or democrat sway your answer.

Also, don't talk about the deaths of our military because more people die in car crashes in a month in the US than the total amount of soldiers that have died since the war began.

I also have blue patches with white stripes-I was told by someone else these are also Air Force!! Go figure. I know they can't both be from the same branch of the military, could they??

Say they go to the Naval Academy, and get laser eye surgery right after graduation, and the surgery is done by the Navy, or approved by the Navy.

They go on their 2-year tour of duty.

If their vision meets the requirements then, after already having had corrective surgery, can they enter BUD/S training, assuming they meet all other requirements?

Thank you!

If american scientists found a safe and cheap cure/method for aging that would allow you to live for as long as you want (up to 800 years) without any age related diseases (such as cancer, alzhimers, diabetes..etc) in a healthy state with the physical and mental condition of 30 year old and the majority of leaders decided taking this "aging cure" didn't contradict any ethical or religious values, would you still join the military's infantry division knowing you could probably die in the current Iraqi war? Or would you not join and take the cure and see how long you can live before you died of something else besides age or disease?

P.S. Scientists said overpopulation would be a problem because by the time we started becoming over populated we will have developed the technology to colonize space.

My husband switch our pay over to once a month. Well, we received our first of the month pay check, like normal (half his pay) so I thought it just hadn't taken affect yet. Well, I looked at his LES for the 15th and it said $0!! How could this be?? Isn't the pay check on the 1st and the one on the 15th BOTH May's pay?? How could they hold back a half a month of pay and expect us to survive. We get MEAGER wages as it is!! Does it sound like THEY messed up or what?

Is air force's boot camp located in one place only? Or are there a couple of bases where they hold boot camp.

does it vary depending on the job you plan on picking where they place you for boot camp.

I'm only asking about boot camp -the basic first training and only in the US.

My husband hurt his foot 5 years ago and has had 4 surgeries on it. The military says he will never be able to run again and they may MED him out (medical discharge). And if he doesn't MED him he ETS's December. Our Property Managers (Merit Co.) is saying that we still have to ride out our lease, but my husband is the soul money bearer in the family. We can't afford to stay here also because we would go back to his home of record (oklahoma) Is there anything we can do about this? Where is the support for military these days?

If Iraq gets to the point of a draft, do you think it's supporters should be forced to go over the ones who say it is immoral and a lost cause? Is it fair to force people who NEVER supported Iraq to fight and die for the guys who got us into Vietnam II (I am not saying Iraq is lost, I am saying it is controversial)?

This just really burns me up! This is the equivalent of having an evil Sesame Street! When I was in high school, there was this little day care center next to the school that had a bunch of poorly drawn Disney characters all over the side of it. After a few years, the Disney corporation found out about it, don't ask me how, anyway, they sent their Army of lawyers into this predominantly black day care and were threatening all manner of lawsuits etc. Where are they now? They can't sue Hamas, well, they could, but so what, but they CAN sue the broadcasting company for copyright infringment. Follow up to my story, Hanna Barbera heard about the day care center's woes (don't know how) and sent in PROFESSIONAL animators to paint HB characters all over the place for the kids, way to go YOGI BEAR! http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070508/ap_on_re_mi_ea/palestinians_hamas_mickey_mouse

I have twenty four years of military service. Twelve years active duty Navy and twelve years Army National Guard with nearly four years of activation. The Guard is in process of medically discharging me. What are the advantages/disadvantages of such a discharge, and what options do I have? What would be a good website to find such information? Any first hand experiences would be appreciated. Thanks
