I didn't know that.

Iraqis will tell you public enemy #1 is the USA.

Sunnis will tell you #1 is Shiites.

Shiites will tell you its Sunnis

Any way you put it, its perfectly obvious that Alqaeda has little presence in Iraq compared to those big three.

How can they be #1?
They weren't even in Iraq before Bush invaded.

One of my friends is under investigation for it. He slept with her but it wasn't rape. I was there along with one of my other friends and we both know it wasn't. She had drank some 5 or 6 hours before they slept together and she is trying to claim he took advantage of her which he didn't. She even initiated it. How do these usually play out?

All of our HIGH TECH military garbage is basically useless in IRAQ.

Americans have no heart for war and rely on technology to save their weak efforts.

The USA is weak because the character of the american people is rotted by easy living and materialism.

Our so-called enemy in IRAQ has eveything to gain in IRAQ and nothing to lose.

American soldiers have NOTHING to gain and everything to lose...their lives.

The people of the USA have a greater enemy than themselves.

Look at the american people for what they are...spoiled, decadent and above all ignorant.

God does not bless america....because we have become what we fight ..evil

My husband was injured during BCT (Fracture both heels and knee caps) and was supposed to go on CON leave. However he was sent to MCU where he is not resting or healing. All that is happening he is getting depressed. They tell him CON leave is a possibility but not right now. Is there anything I can do to help speed this along? Anyone I can talk to? They aren't telling him anything which is adding to his frustration.

I just read an article about the boys in Iraq... The death toll is significantly a lot lower than vietnam at this time in the battle. The difference is the men in nam had no choice. They had to go. Unless they ran to Canada. Half of the homeless people in the United States are Nam vets. I was 13 years old when we pulled out of Nam.. and I remember it like yesterday. Every person in Iraq chose to be there.. wanted the free education, rent paid, etc... the only price they had to pay was 'in case of war'.. they took the chance... just as I did ... I get disgusted when I read all the crap about the war in iraq... what about the soldiers from Nam that are still getting nothing??? this is not realy a question, more like looking for opinions.. Am I the only one out there who thinks vietnam vets should come first????

Subject: Increase Violence in Iraq

Message: Joking?
No I'm not joking.
"We didn't initiate the violence in Iraq"?
Are you joking?
You sure as hell did.
Let me give you a little reality check.
According to UN and international compiled figures 650,000 (and rising daily) Iraqis have died since the American invasion.
As opposed to USA Pentagon figures which a:
1. Never include a counting of civilians casualties since Bush ordered that civilian casualties not be counted, and never were.
2. Never include wounded or displaced numbers..
3. & BTW Never include American wounded, the "official" number of American wounded is zero.
So hundreds of thousands already have died whether you believe it or not. Saddam didn't remotely approach such numbers except during his war with the Islamic Jihad Shia/Iranian coalition. The same majority Shia Bush & Co elevated to power by removing Saddam.
This is a total mismanaged ill-conceived bloody mess and it is indeed your fault.

Don't you only send for backup when you are outnumbered and losing? Sounds like a no brainer but I can be wrong.

YOu can't win by policing a civil war but you can definately die in the middle of it.
