why does it matter? they're all out doing the same thing-fighting for our country. it shouldn't matter what color they are. if they are fighting for our country then that means they are AMERICAN...not german american, not african american, not mexican american, AMERICAN.

According to Army stats, 18% of active duty enlistees are African-American.
"Build" did have a great answer, though.

0%--I'm almost sure you can't serve and have duel citizenship
So 0 African-Americans serve in the USA's armed forces
