They want well-rounded individuals, making Eagle Scout and doing sports goes a long way. Make sure you get good SAT scores. Your fitness program right on target the only thing I don't understand is the lifting 5 pounds 1000 times. Ther rest is right on.

You sound good, but you're going to want to beef up at some point. Rather than lift a 5 pound weight 1000 times, try a 20 pound weight 100 times... and concentrate on being able to hold that weight straight out from your body for about 5-10 minutes. That's the sort of thing you'll have to do.

You need a congressional invitation so contact your areas representative and encourage others that know you to do this as well.
You need physical and mental strength and endurance to become part of the Seals. I think you have to have been in already for a while and then apply to go to Seal selection training. Also you say you seek to lead but do you also know how to follow? The team, the mission, and winning is all.
I listed two links to the official websites of both orgs but you have probably done your homework and looked at those, correct?
Good luck.

4.3 GPA? You must have done tons of extra credit. Physical strength is only a part of being a SEAL, it takes an inordinate amount of mental toughness, unquestionable leadership, determination, and motivation. Many men have excellent test scores and education, show up in excellent physical condition and do extremely well on the Physical Screening Test (PST), but they lack what it really takes. But to answer your question, yes, you seem to be at a good starting point. Work on those congressional appointments too.

sounds like you're on a good track.
next time you go running, do it at a march pace with a 50 pound rucksack on your back. march for about 10-20 miles. that should help.
learn about weapons...find someone safe and intelligent to teach you.
gain some weight. could you carry deadweight , like a body, 10 miles to safety??
the eagle scout can help you learn some survival skills.
study military tactics and take a self defense class....maybe something like kickboxing, martial arts...
when you are running, are you running on a track?? stop that...there are no racetracks in the world except for actual racetracks...catch my drift??
run on sand, if you can and up hills, mountain trails...
learn how to swim with your hands tied...with your feet tied...make sure there are people there to teach you the techniques and save you if you drown....
take care and i wish you well.
EDIT:
yeah, i don't really understand the lift 5 pounds for an hour straight either...that's kind of weird. or 1000 times...i don't get it.
also, if you want to fly, then get your pilot's license. or if you want the navy, then learn a bit about boats....the navy likes boats;)

It takes more than that to join the United States Naval Academy. You need connections to join.

For the person below who doesn't know why he lifts 5lb weights 1000 times: Light weights build speed and endurance. They are used a lot by people who study Asian martial arts.
Masters of martial arts (in Asia) are not bulky. The guy who invented Aikido was a very weak looking man but he could win almost any fight.

Your GPA and physical standards are fine. what other leadership roles do you have besides Scouting?
also.. keep in mind that you cannot poush Christianity, ESPECIALLY if you are to become an Officer. One's personal choice of religion has no place in the day to day operations of the military. ALL military personnel are expected to have high moral standards, not jsut the Christian ones.

if you want to spread principles of christianity, you should rather be a preacher. Military does have nothing in common with any religion, with exception of orders of the superior. btw utilize the principles of christianity does not follow principles of subordination, you cannot offer the second cheak after you are strucken into the first. you have to strike back :)
