Say they go to the Naval Academy, and get laser eye surgery right after graduation, and the surgery is done by the Navy, or approved by the Navy.

They go on their 2-year tour of duty.

If their vision meets the requirements then, after already having had corrective surgery, can they enter BUD/S training, assuming they meet all other requirements?

Thank you!

It's not as cool as they would have you believe in these silly video games like socum but by all means we need guys like you that are up for the challange. Yes you'll need surgery to be a seal candidate. You will need to be in shape that is on par with the marines just to try to get a seat in the class. It's easy to disqualify for and the most important thing is becoming a sailor with a job first that you like and then worry about SEAL team. HM corpsmen is a good job because if SEALS doesn't work you can be a field medic for the marines and when you aren't with the marines your job is easy as hell.

sure why not???

unles the laser surgery failed and it beamed a hole into your cheek which soon became infested with maggots that came from flies that are currently buzzing around your toes while the doctors and surgeons are frantically trying to sew the hole back together but have only succeeded in making it bigger and full of sharp, painful needles that are injecting deadly poison from a venomous bunny which is lying dead on the tray with sixteen fifty caliber bullets in its head and its teeth missing and its eyeballs have popped out, rolling across the floor and making to surgeons slip and fall and hit the tray by accident, making it roll across the hall into the bathroom where deadly toxic waste brings the evil bunny back to life and creates world war three because that evil bunny accidentally shoved the white house flamingo statue and it broke and sprayed water all over the snipers, wetting their guns and getting their scopes all smudgy so that they missed a crazy drug addict and shot osama bin laden who was trying to get in using a pair of can openers even though there is no such thing as a pair of can openers or is there...?

Geico. Save 15% or more on car insurance. So easy a caveman can do it.

Right...?

A waiver is required even after corrective surgery, but if you can pass the eye test you're in.

Good luck in BUD/S!
