although I do know may 11th is military spouse appreciation day and the 19th is Armed Forces Day

Armed Forces Day id May 19th, not today. It is my understanding that is the day designated for the appreciation of our military... ofcourse they should be appreciated everyday, but just speaking in terms of designating the day of observance.
I support out troops always, but I disagree with our current leadership and the current war in iraq.
