Didn't I read somewhere several months ago that about 500 empty WMD shell casings had been found in Iraq? Why didn't the media have follow-up stories? I sure didn't see any further reporting on the subject, and I thought we would see a lot.

Dear Mr. Zimbrick,
I’m writing to thank you for the difficult job that you and other veterans have done for us. We’ve learned about World War 2 in the past and I just wanted to let you know you have my ultimate respect for your service to our country and its citizens. I know for a fact that it took more than courage. Words, not even this letter can explain it. I’m glad your willing to talk about your experience, even though its probably hard for you. Like most, I’m guessing it was hard to leave your family behind, waking up every morning wondering if you were going to hear or see them again. I bet your family, and others had an emptiness inside that they couldn’t fulfill until they knew you came back alive. If you were one who didn’t receive any mail or ’thank you’ letters I’m very sorry to hear that and I hope you know many people appreciate.
I have a few questions to ask : I was wondering what you did in your spare time and how the people reacted toward you? Including where you trained , and if you decide to join the military or if you got drafted. Even if you were drafted, I’m glad you served. This country wouldn't be what it is today if it weren't for our vets and currently serving troops. I know you have some interesting stories and was wondering if you mind telling me a couple. I wish I could have the opportunity to thank you in person.

If there are so many people who support the current administration and their "War on Terror" in Iraq - then why is it that military recruiters are struggling to get people to join. Where have all the Pat Tillmans gone?
I am in the military, and I see a lot of arm chair quarterbacks who say they support this war, and I see a lot less who have stepped up to the plate. Why is that? My life is on the line - and where are you?

Let's say I have JROTC experience and will enlist into the US Army as an E-3. Does this mean I will have to wait longer to be an E-4 or E-5, is TIS really strict on this? Lets say I enlist for 4 years, can I make Sergeant by that time? (this is only hypothetical, and for info) And I mean lets say promotion factors are on ym side, im doing a good job, ive go tcollege credits, and I take college classes(online)

I just turned 18, and I am graduating from my senior year in Highshcool in a couple weeks. Sometimes next year I plan on going to basic training to join the Army Infantry. I am joining for many different reasons, but I just don't think that I physically handle some of the things that they will ask of me.

I am 230 pounds (slightly overweight) and am going to spend the rest of this year getting into shape, but still I am unsure of myself. My real question is for those of you that have been threw basic training.

I am wondering if the officers and trainers work with the recruits and such. I mean, say I cannot do a few things, will I be able to continue? Can they kick me out? Any details on what basic is like would be greatly appreciated, I really want this.

President Ford. When things got hot in Vietnam the republicans turned and ran. The enemy could only see butts and elbows. The saying "cut and Run" was coined. The Republicans know it all too well. ( Date: 30th April 1975) Stay tuned! The question is "Will the Republicans do it again?

In the event where 4 soldiers died and 3 missing, and in today's event where 6 soliders were killed by one bomb.... how come there were NO Iraqis except for interpretors??

How can US continue to allow Iraqis to sit aside watching US soliders die for them? Didn't all the news say Iraqi army can handle most regions by themselves already?

That alone means US should stop helping them!!

I have not heard how the British feel about their involvement in the Iraq war and really couldn't find much on the internet.
Maybe their opinions have been announced, but I must have missed it. Maybe someone out there can inform me.

After 9/11 occurred, there was never a more important time or a more ideal opportunity to convince the American people of the need to seal our southern border.

About one out of every twelve illegals crossing the border from Mexico has a criminal record.

Mexico is conveniently unloading its criminals on the U.S.!!!

We ignorantly refer to the French as "surrender monkeys", but in light of this most recent immigration bill worked out between some Senators and the White House, aren't George W. Bush and the members of Congress the real "SURRENDER MONKEYS"?!!!!

Why do we have troops stationed abroad when we can't even protect our sovereignty at home?

Isn't George W. Bush our SURRENDER MONKEY-IN-CHIEF?

I know that the common time someone is shipped out each year is around 6 months, but does that just mean this is the time you are away from home or is it the actual time you are at sea. So, basically are you out at sea for six months before you go into any port or during this time are you stopping off at different ports during those months.

Ok, so I'm an army recruiter and my station commander stole my marriage certificate out of my personal documents folder that was in my desk drawer. He thinks he can use it against me because I married a girl who I put in the army over a year ago. She's already been through basic training and AIT, so now she's just a regular soldier in the regular army. I looked in the regulations, there rules against having an improper relationship with recruits before they leave for training, and against having an improper relationship with soldiers in initial entry training, but there's nothing against a recruiter having a relationship with someone he put in that is now a soldier. btw, I'm 25 and she's 21, just so you don't think I'm some old bastard hooking up with some teenager.

Will you fight or will you call upon the soldiers that have volunteered to defend this country? I am inclined to believe the latter than the former. This question is in response to those nay-sayers that have and will post in my, "If you've never served a day in the military, what gives you the right to scorn them?" thread. It's easy to say what you do until faced with that very plight. Will it EVER happen, I doubt it, but who really knows? Remember 9/11? No American thought THAT would ever occur, but it did. If it ever were to happen though, they won't be accepting hugs, handshakes or "hits" from your bongs, they'll want your hides. And even though you trash the Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force, I know they would still fight for YOU, because they know why they serve. They're a team, selfless and honorable. I side with them because I used to be one of them. I want a better world for generations to come and if I had to fight to reach it, then that's what I'd do.

While on AD and off base in Germany i was arrested, convicted and given a 14 month suspended sentence for larceny. I spent 4 months in jail awaiting trial. No citizens of the US or military were victims in the incident. I have not gone through my court martial case yet cause i recently just got back on base. Will i be charged with article 121 (larceny) though i've already been punished for that offense? Could I possibly have to serve time in the brig for the offenses I've already been punished for? Other than this incident i've got a clean record and have excelled at my job. If they can't use the article 121 to court martial me than they don't have much to work with. 1 last question: which of the 3 type of military courts might my court martial case go to?
