Didn't I read somewhere several months ago that about 500 empty WMD shell casings had been found in Iraq? Why didn't the media have follow-up stories? I sure didn't see any further reporting on the subject, and I thought we would see a lot.

Yes, they did.
They were chemicals manufactured in Germany and sold to the Iraqi's during the blockade.
This info hurts the libs, and the media is liberal, so they buried it.

The point is always forgotten or missed in media and political spin. What does WMD actually mean? - WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. Now we know they did not have any so our man Tony converted this to mean Battlefield Weapons. A shell of sorts used in battle cannot be a WMD can it? To be WMD one assumes the capability to have MD. Get me? You need something bigger that will cause MD

because the conclusion of munitions experts was that these were from the early to mid 1980's and even the bush administration admitted that these were not the weapons that we were talking about when we went to war in iraq.
weapons expert david kay put it best when he stated flatly that the average household had more dangerous stuff under their kitchen sink.
only rick santorum and sean hannity were stupid enough to start talking about this as though it actually amounted to anything.
hannity called for liberals to apologize -then oddly fox news sent him on a two week vacation.
only hannity and fox news will know if that was an unofficial suspension for being such a world class lunkhead.
santorum lost his congressional seat after this (and a lot of other) blunder...

Those type of weapons do NOT leave shell casing. WMD's are NOT guns or mortars...
I could explain it to you but I think you should go in the internet and find out for yourself. After you have informed yourself, you will see just how silly your question is and WHY you didn't read your information "somewhere".

Well they declassified a document on Thursday or Friday that gave evidence that over 500 WMDs have been found since
2003. It was declassified to help get the funding released by Senators who were convinced there were no WMDs - I guess they were wrong again.

they briefly mentioned finding toxins and gasses last year, I only saw the story 2 times before it disappeared.
The funny thing is no one denies Saddam had these weapons before the Persian gulf war, no one denies that the places the inspectors were supposed to be inspecting were in fact weapons factories, and there was no evidence to show Saddam had dismantled his programs fully and in fact not a year before Bush is elected in to office the Democrats were warning us that Saddam was still stockpiling weapons.
but some all this is suddenly forgotten When Bush becomes President.
The media and the Democrats are playing politics with people's lives just so they can spread their own agenda. It is very disturbing to see happen.

If they found WMD's neither this administration nor any other Republican would stop squaking about it for two seconds.

The existence and evidence of WMDs is a known FACT, only the Democrat liberal anti-America crowd and their adoring Media sidekicks scream that there were no such things around. It is a FACT that Saddam USED Wm's. Good grief, what do you believe? Lies or actual evidence?

Actually it was more like 100,000 chemical artillary shells uncovered. Such weapons were in part responsible for the 300,000+ bodies that have been dug up from mass graves in Iraq.
