Me and all of the friends that i Have that are in the armed service are not scared. We know that no matter what we have to stay the course. We went over there (ill intent or not) and blew every thing up now we need to fix it. Look I don't like it any more that any one else and nither do our troops, but we know that some times you got to do what you got to do. It is hard and we may never know the real reason why we went over there in the first place. We may all have a theroys but nothing else.

Regardless there are people that live in that country that need our help to clean up our mess and I feel that no matter what we should at least stay to clean up our mess. If the "brits" feel the need to not fallow through whith the mess that they helped make than thats ok too. We really don't need them. We are going to do just fine!

And our troops will get the job done. They are brave honerable men and women. They will do as they are told because they have a deep love not just for their country but for humainty. Remember that when you think about the war. It is more than polotics at this point!

Don't know because I am not a war supporter or a supporter of war as an answer to a problem.
I applaud the sentiments of kwingfan but am not convinced that what she hopes will come to be. The quickest way to ease the pain in Iraq is for all foreigners to get out and let them sort it out. You will also save many allied lives at the same time.

I heard the British were going to pull out in the Fall two years ago. The British have been handing their area back to the Iraqi government.

In the meantime those British soldiers will probably end up in Afghanistan.

After reading the article again, I had read it earlier, it appears you are drawing your own conclusions to justify your political agenda. Your are making more out of the issue than need be.

What an idiotic answer above.
They have gone a long way in training Iraqis to run the province which they are in, so they should pull out. Let Iraqis start looking after themselves. It's time.

It may be a good thing to have the British gone. )They screwed up Basra big time.) With them gone Muquda Al Sadr's thugs will lose their last sanctuary.
