Will you fight or will you call upon the soldiers that have volunteered to defend this country? I am inclined to believe the latter than the former. This question is in response to those nay-sayers that have and will post in my, "If you've never served a day in the military, what gives you the right to scorn them?" thread. It's easy to say what you do until faced with that very plight. Will it EVER happen, I doubt it, but who really knows? Remember 9/11? No American thought THAT would ever occur, but it did. If it ever were to happen though, they won't be accepting hugs, handshakes or "hits" from your bongs, they'll want your hides. And even though you trash the Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force, I know they would still fight for YOU, because they know why they serve. They're a team, selfless and honorable. I side with them because I used to be one of them. I want a better world for generations to come and if I had to fight to reach it, then that's what I'd do.

You are exactly right.
In answer to your question as soon as my dogs got through chewing on them, I have a shotgun and a *few* handguns to finish the job.

I will treat this as a serious question, even though your supplement shows you just want to vent.
First, call 911 so no one else is surprised. Notification to higher authority is the first responsibility of a sentry or anyone else who sees a crisis first. If you are killed, even if you take a few along, you haven't done the most possible good.
Second, try to continue to report the developing situation as long as possible.
Third, evade capture until you can organize or join already organize resistance.
Fourth, do your best with what you have until you win or die.

I would do both - fight them myself and also call on out own forces. I'd also be happy to see forces from Canada, Mexico, UK, etc also landing to help out....as long as they left after we won.
There is the question whether I could do more good as a partisan behind the lines or as part of the front-line struggle.

Question would presume that I saw them parachuting into my back yard. In that case...they would land dead (big burth and #10) and those that might still be able to scurry about...Et Brute, my English Bull Dog would stop the scurring about in a hurry.

They may outnumber me (and her highness, my Shepherd mix who feels her back yard is her personal property and NOTHING and NO ONE can go back there without her personal consent...except her buddy CHANCE, the next door Bitchen Freeze), but I wonder who would be willing to take the first bullet, the second, through the 9th (and more if I could reload quick enough) in order to take me out.
(Some numb-nuts said the people at VT should have rushed Cho...unarmed, and he had two 9mm's in his hands.)

Well, I would go over to my friends house, join up with them and go kick some a**. Oh yea, and as for your Hill Billie Clinton, she'd take away your guns so, strike there. And Nostradamus, I'm 10,000,000% sure you're on crack. Most (if not all) Americans would prefer not to fight, but they aren't gonna take crap.

beautiful words. said beautifully. those who have served and who are serving, they honor me. those who have died a soldiers death and live a soldiers life. i honor them. we are here because they are there. a mother said to her son upon him going to iraq 2 years ago. "i cannot protect you anymore, you are going to far away", the son said," it is my turn to protect you". my son will be 18 this year and is planning to join, he hasn't mentioned it in awhile, so i don't know if his plans are the same. my dad and his 5 bros all joined the navy, my 2 bros joined air force and one was in desert storm. one bro was in air national guard. i have been blessed with all being safe.........................

You mean if the Bush Administration were to invade my Back Yard? I would turn the neighbor's dog on them. Get out my garden hose. Brandish a rake. I can not take your question seriously. Navy Vet, Vietnam era.
