Statistically the four Service Academies are the hardest to gain entry. Very high number of applications, for four years of quality education along with free room and board. Coupled with very small class sizes.
The Coast Guard Academy has the smallest class sizes and is statistically the hardest school in the US to gain admission. Less than 2% of applications accepted.
