from Iraq, what plans has Bush made to fight them here in this country when this happens since he is such a great military stragiest?

I won't be joining the Military (USMC) for a while but when I do, i'll be around 21-23. Would I be considered "old", would I be considered the old guy?

I smell some lies here, the brit ship is the flagship of the area decked out with all the latest equipment and radars..and they now give us PINPOINT location as to where they were. Yet at the time had NO idea 5 iranian boats where closing in on there location, with a possible attack...haha how odd...why on earth would this happen? wouldnt be anything to do with the world wide objection to the war would it? another stunt to back their ''claims'' that everyone in the middle east is out to get us lol Oh no...it couldnt be....

hi all. in less than 2 months from now, im leaving for the navy, and im somewhat excited and nervous...but what i wanted to know is that since i signed up for 4 years in the service, how and when do i sign up to become a naval flight officer? could i be taking the required classes WHILE in my 4 years of service? and will this enable me to become a commercial pilot in the future? and if the navy does pay for college, where are some schools that has an NROTC program and an aviation school in it too. thanks

What does iran gain by kidnapping these british marines .
The whole world knows that anything said or written in those circumstances is done under duress .
Do the iranian people themselves really believe what they are told .
I cant believe they are so gullible or stupid to believe that prisoners will speak freely or will be allowed to do so .
So , what do they gain , are they such a spiteful petty people that they behave like a bully .
Is it any wonder that the western world views with horror the thought of a people like the iranians developing a nuclear weapon .The iraqis did the same thing under Sadam .
Is it a trait of the arab people , are they all just spiteful bullies .
Can the European peoples ever live in piece with such strange nations .

my boyfriend and i have just split up because he is leaving for the army soon and that fact has caused major stress on our relationship. he is pulling away and trying to suppress his feelings for me because hes afraid that our relationship might not work out while he's gone. i have faith in it however, and am trying to get him to realize how good a relationship can be for a soldier. there is absolutely no risk of cheating on either part, so what i need is for someone to tell me how to show him that he shouldnt be scared of being with me just because of distance, and why breaking up is only going to cause regret. any suggestions?

Is there any branch of the military that will accept you without a highschool diploma or ged? i have a clean criminal history thats the only thing im lacking! I thought sicne things are the way they are these days they would lower the standards a litle bit.. does anyone know?

Okay. My husband just left for boot camp and I am unsure about the pay he will receive. We got different answers from each recruiter he talked to about it (of course) so I really don't know what to expect. I know his basic pay since you can find that all over the web and his BAH. What I am unclear about it the BAH and the seperation allowance. Will he get either of those? I was told seperation pay is given after 30 straight days of being away, which makes sense. Any truth to this? Also, was told that I would not be able to access MyPay.com until after his 9 weeks of boot. Is this true?? How am I supposed to see his breakdown in pay? Any help/answers/ advice is welcomed!! THANKS!!!

So i've been going through out highschool thinking without a doubt that i wanted to go to collage for a computer degree. But all of a sudden (no idea why), im starting to think about going into the military. It might be the excitement of going off somewhere new and doing new and exciting things. Im a highschool junior, 17 years old. i know the military is dangerous, but it doesnt have any effect on my mind as whether to go into it or not. I love working out and going to the weight room and all that stuff, but im not in the JROTC because i wasnt thinking about the military until this year. I guess my questions are: Do you think it is wise for me to be thinking about the military?, If your in the military, would you say the military is worth all the training with what you get to do?, Would it matter if im not in the JROTC?, Where can i get info on bootcamps for people between jr. and sr. year? and How long does some one stay on active duty befor you get a break?

I think the problem with these Iranians and Arabs in general is that they take their religous laws a little too seriously and allow the enemy to exploit them. The woman should actually be treated worse than the male counterparts as part of a psychological warfare tactic.
