I have less than 2 years left, but i'm fed up and can't get rank or promotion becuase of a DUI.

I love being a soldier and have seriously considered the Legion for about a year now.

I understand the giving up US citizenship, and how the contract works, i just don't want to screw myself over and not get in.

2500 years ago aprox the first democracy in the world Athens, went to a military expedition in Sicily agains the city of siracuse allied of the spartans. For that operation the athenians armed the most powerful army of that time. But there was a lack of political substance in the idea. so this increace the unpopularity of Athens in the ancient world. The athenians get stuck in siracuse and they lose their army, after the war almost all nations allied with sparta even the persians and the allies of athens. The situations became the world versus athens, obviously athens lose the war and this was the end of the firs democracy of the world. So the war in iraq could become the same for the United States? Iraq is the Sicilian Expedition of the US? what do you think?

Oh sure they can kill with high tech weaponry but the Professioal leaderrs the Genrals let men gety slaughtered in Hospitals as well as by lousy equipment.Kill each other in a friendly way, rpae the vidctims of over 16 yars of constant misery and blow the hell out of country and now we can't figue out if we cut and run stay and alughter or just blow the whole place up
No units have ever had as free a reign as todays in Iraq, no matter the whining of grunts who know diddly squat of political issues
How a militry welcomed into country as saviors could of then been so stupid as to turn whole country against them in less than 3 months is unbeleivable.
HOW?
By incompetenet leaders and military trained to make war to make war.
The amounts of graft by Generals and military professional contractors is unparalleled in history of world and led to our troops going into Iraq with shoddy food, vehicles, and untrained men and women.
We send our youths on the cheap, to protect fat contractors

or should we regard them as a group of greedy soldiers who fight for the dollar not the ideals behind the war!

United states armed forces are people of great honor and prestige, role models....people to be admired. these hired killers are nothing but former soldiers turned thugs and bouncers then finally hired on as body guards for people with more money than god knows what to do with.

I am in the WI Army National Guard. I am being assigned to a new MOS and have been told to go onto my AKO account and look to see if there are any schools I could attend this summer. I have looked but can not find where this would be listed? Can you give me instructions on where to go and what to click on in the AKO website to find schools that would be available? I believe that my new MOS will be 96B. Thanks!

i read that sean hannity said in his book that he hated seeing congress interogate and criticize north for the iran-contra affair.

ok, is'nt hannity conservative??? i bet if some liberal guy sold arms to the islamic fanatics in iran, he would be up in arms....but apparantly its ok for a military hero to sell arms to terrorists?

sorry, i just want to know how any conservative can defend someone selling arms to our enemies

how can they justify calling it the war in Iraq when there was little on no resistance. the majority of US troops have been killed since Bush claimed the so called war was over when are the people gonna realise just who's running things over there.

Ones I can name:
1) The first attempt on the world trade center, which was unsuccessful but still killed some innocent people
2) Some guy who tried to cross the canadian border with explosives and was caught.
3) A japanese red army guy who tried to blow up the new jersey turn pike
4) A attempt at blowing up the Olympic Stadium in Atlanta?
