If I'm already in DEP with the Air Force and then a few months before I leave for basic, say 5 months, I decide I want to enlist in a different job than the one I already chose, can I choose something else before I go to basic if i'm qualified for it?

yes you sure can. You are not really in the Military yet, you are in the DEP. You can change your mind about your job, or about joining at all if you want to.

Yes, i believe we got the chance to change our AFSPC in basic, especially if you come in under open general, i.e any job
