Your chances of getting killed are pretty small.

If you look at the statistics on the news, most U.S soldiers come back from Iraq just fine. (I think the number of people there who've died is less than 0.1% but the number of wounded severally might be as high as 2%; i.e., probably 98% of american soldiers or more come back without a physical scratch.)

That said, your chances of not getting killed not joining up are even better.

The chances are probably 99% you'll go to Iraq tho. I'm sure thats a tough experience but there are worst wars and worse militaries

Still, serving in any war is dangerous and there are still dead people coming back from there. Its also hard seeing all the death that one must see there. I'm pretty sure most of the dead you will see will be iraqi civilians.

hashish will stay on your equipment longer than a lot of alternative drugs ,yet a million- 2 mos. ought to in spite of the undeniable fact that be adequate time to honestly bypass the attempt. at this time, most are more familiar with Iraq than they are their home base because they have spent more time there than they have at home. I look at it this way and it the most positive way I can, more soldiers come home than don't, so keep your head up stay strong you are doing a great thing for your country and you are supported by many

OK, good luck to you. If this is a comedy sketch, it's not very funny. The USMC does not take nongraduates from high school. Maybe try the Air Force.

Not all Marines go to Iraq and even less get killed. I think you may need to study for your ASVAB as getting into the marines is NOT a given even in a time of war. And please, use sp check next time

pretty sad testimony to the caliber of people they'll let into the marines these days. Hopefully there is lots of spelling and grammar studies in basic training.

although i'd guess you'd have to be that dumb to want to risk your life for an illegal war for the US oil industry.

Yeah, you will be going to war.
What are your chances of getting killed? Ask any one of the soldiers who have died.
