My husband went to the recruiter to talk to them and get some info on Dec 27, talked to his parents on the 28th went back on the 29th to take the ASVAB went to MEPS on the 30th, moved me and my daughter in with his Mom on the 31st, 1st and 2nd then went to Boot Camp on Jan 3 but that was 7 years ago I don't know if they can still do it that fast anymore.

You can get in the Army pretty fast, especially at a time like now. Even if your OSUT/BCT dosnt start when you get there, they will place you in a reception unit where you will be held until there is an opening for the training. A great website for you to look at is www.goarmy.com. I joined while I was still 17 and now 4 years and a deployment later, I dont regret doing it. Hope this helped!

I did it in two weeks. You can arrange it to take the ASVAB, physical and enlist that day, as long as you don't have any major road bumps along the way.

I'm sure if you go to the recruiters office and tell them this they'll help you...

My husband's latest group of MP Trainees graduate on 12 April, they'll pick up again in 10 days... there are three MP training battalions on FLW...so tell them you want to be an MP and you want to go now...

Sign up to be frontline infantry. They are begging for more boots on the ground.
