I really don't understand you people. I am a Sgt ( now in the national guard but spent 5 years on Active Duty) I don't understand why all these people pick anything apart to criticize any part of our fighting men and women. Being a soldier is the hardest job in the world, The only people that can talk bad about what is going on is the people that have been there. And thats my honest Opinion. give up all the bad mouthing about our brave men and women

I've been in the Air Force for almost 1 year. I really don't feel like I'm contributing to the war on terror or making a difference at all. Bascically, in a nut shell, I want out with an honorable discharge. Does anyone, who is in the military, (preferably Air Force) know if this is possible. I just want to move on with my life and maybe try college again and just work some simple production job. Anything but this. I thought it'd be fun and interesting, but I can't stand almost every person I work with. They only care, because they have to. My job seems like it would be really cool if I had the right people showing me how to do things the right way. People always ask why'd you do it that way or why you doing it that way, instead of showing me the right way. The training is absolutely rediculous. How many rape classes and briefings do we have to go through! This is just the tip of the iceberg.

has anyone else noticed that our government is slowly but shurely falling apart? and why are they STILL sending MORE american troops to iraq? hasnt this gone on long enough? how many more of our soldiers have to die for bush's own personal vendetta?

I believe that if you are active duty then you should be granted all the same rights as those of a 21 year old. This is to include the authorization to drink a beer if you want. Currently our military between the ages of 18 - 21 are expected to fight and die for their country, but god forbid if these same individuals drink a beer. If so then it's article 15 time.

I think we would have high school graduates knocking down the recruiters doors if they were given all rights as those of a 21 year old. Realize having the right to drink a beer is not that great in most peoples minds, but think it is important in the minds of our teenager and will thus increase military recruitment goals.

I'm in NJROTC, and I have a drill meet in a few days (regionals). See, I'm on our inspection team, drill team, and am commander of the color guard, so I can't have scuffed shoes.

My question is, does anyone know any ways to help me keep a mirror shine? (I can get it, I just can't keep it)

China is growing rapidly powerful, more advanced and growing a enormous army. and like Sparta to Athens, could the US go to war with China to show who's still the superpower? That's the last thing I want, I wouldn't want my family's homeland devastated by american troops.

We can't just withdraw because if we do there will be a big civil war and their will be GENOCIDE. If you think we should just withdraw you support genocide. I know that we can't stay their forever but, can't just leave either. Also, Bush has not done what is nescesary to end this war either. Many politicians say that Iraq needs to make an agreement between Sunnis and Shiites in government to stop their fighting. This would then bring peace to Sunnis and Shiites and would stop much terrorism and civil war and genocide. What do you thionk we should do?
