You must be a high school graduate ,have a GED or an equivalent.
Your success rate in the military probably will not go very far since you don't have the initiative to finish high school.
With a drop out attitude your chances are very unlikely you would be motivated enough to get a GED untill your 19 0r 20.

drop out sign up for a ged class but you need to be 17 or 18 to join the army

You can enlist under the GED Plus program where once you pass the ASVAB and are signed up for the GED (which the Army pays the fee for), you enlist. You must pass the GED in order to ship out.

You need to be 18 to sign the papers yourself. I think you can do that at 17 with your parents though. However, you need a high school diploma or something equivilent to that. The bonuses are insane in the Army if you didn't already know that. Some can be like 25k or more. GL with whatever you decide to do though. Talk to a recruiter for more information and DON'T LET HIM TALK YOU INTO ANYTHING!

No. You'll need to have a diploma. They also let in a handful of folks with GED's, but for the most part, you'll need that diploma. Also, having a GED rather than a diploma will stick with you as part of your permanent military record... so it'll always hold you back a little.

yes with a GED, but why would you not want to finish High School. I have a friend who dropped out, just because he was lazy. He now has no job and lives with his mom, hes 24. don't make his mistake finish school, its not that hard. If you have your diploma you'll have more opportunities.

im pretty sure that you have to finish high school or have a ged but go to army.com and look on the website for the qualifications
