I really don't understand you people. I am a Sgt ( now in the national guard but spent 5 years on Active Duty) I don't understand why all these people pick anything apart to criticize any part of our fighting men and women. Being a soldier is the hardest job in the world, The only people that can talk bad about what is going on is the people that have been there. And thats my honest Opinion. give up all the bad mouthing about our brave men and women

Let me try to explain it to those of you who don't understand what criticizing the President has to do with the military. Bush is their Commander In Chief. As such, he is part of them. It's drilled into them from Day One to respect and obey their leadership. In their minds, if you criticize Bush, you criticize them because he is their leader.

Cowboy, thank you for serving!

Oh thats so easy to answer, have you got a TV in your house? Have you watched it lately? The masses are being brainwashed by a communist agenda. Nothing but propaganda. You can't say you hate Bush but the support the fighters in the field when Bush is thier boss. Liberals think they can have it both ways. This does not work in the real world. Most of it is delusional pie in the sky dreaming. All of the answers I've seen here so far seem to be derived from politically correct talking points. I just got through reviewing a question here about how many countrys the US has invaded, it was in the resolved section, and nobody got the answer right, because they do not teach this in government schools, the ONLY country that the US has INVADED was the Confederate States of America in the late 1800's, all of the other wars were not invasions but efforts to repel aggression against this country. Think about it. Most kids today are not even aware that the southern states was once an entirely different country from the US.

Thank you cowboy!

I've read all of these answers you got and all I can say is, how the hell did we ever get anywhere in this great nation with idiots like these liberals who love to bash a man that has their IQ beat by far. He is the Commander and Chief, the main dude, the boss. Not a single one of them can even come close to living the life you have because they are all cowards. They would never join the military and they don't have a clue. You serve with honor and pride but not a single one of them can come close to you. Bush may not be the greatest leader but he's better than anything they have had in the past decade and a half.

I can speak from experience. I was in the US Marines and we all have our jobs to do and I take pride in what I've done and I'm proud to be in this country with people like yourself on my side.

Semper Fi!

One has nothing to do with the other.

I respect and admire every brave man and woman who serves this country. We all owe you the utmost gratitude for your noble dedication. I don't know of anyone who feels differently.

But please understand; That has nothing to do with the fact that George Bush is an incompetent, reckless, unethical idiot who and is not capable of leading the most powerful country in the world.

It concerns me that our troops maybe falling for that "If you don't support the war.....then you don't support the troops" deceitful propaganda churned out by this administration.

On the contrary, to me supporting our troops means speaking out and putting pressure in Washington to get them out of the horrific hell hole Bush has lead them into.
We all want our troops home safe and sound.

Cowboy, your job is tough.
No doubt about it. Thank you very much.

But we are able to differentiate the leader and the troops.

Bush is not doing a good job leading the troops because he failed in many aspects.

Number one: The motive for going to war is false.
They claimed that it was for WMD, then it's for toppling Hussein.
Then it's for maintaining peace.

We are talking bad about your Commander-in-Chief because believe it or not, there are good CiC and bad ones too.
Bush is not a good Commander-in-chief.

But you guys are doing a great job.
That's why we don't wish for you and your troops to die for a worthless cause.

This war is making Americans even more vulnerable.
It used to be such an honor to be an American, especially when traveling overseas.

But try traveling to Islamic countries as one now; it just wouldn't be wise now and in the short forseable future.

I have a great deal of respect for those in uniform. When called upon to defend our nation you put your body and your life on the line. But no one should ever be asked to do that lightly nor should anyone be asked to do that when there were unexplored opinions. My greatest issue with GWB is that he put people like yourself in harms way without good reason. if we had targeted one of the nations from which the terrorists were from that would have been understandable but there are few viable reasons for invading Iraq and none of them were given as reason.
GWB seems to have engineered this war for his own reasons and 3,200 fine Americans have come home in flag draped coffins but GWB keeps that solemn sight out of view, it's bad press.

Um, sure and no. In a great form of those video clips and such, human beings continually seem to circulate "human beings think of they very own each and everything." Like in looking Nemo. (this style of attractive action picture.) I advise, that accusation has to have some floor. it particularly is meant to be humorous yet human beings have a factor while they say that. human beings (and that i'm American, speaking approximately fellow human beings) are, regularly, exceedingly caught up and fairly ignorant approximately different cultures. i don't be attentive to ways. yet from my journey, they are literally. I advise, English is like the fourth maximum broadly spoken language interior the worldwide. And we've issues like speedy nutrition chains and Walmarts stationed international. It provides the sensation that we are stronger, as quickly as we are relatively no longer. And yet another occasion: Harry Potter and the logician's Stone. the clarification they replaced it to "Sorcerer's Stone" is by technique of the fact the unique objective industry grow to be little ones, who does no longer be attentive to what a logician grow to be. It mandatory to sell, so they replaced it. nonetheless, they must have stored it a similar. Why ought to human beings want a dumbed down version of a teen's e book? And on that observe, i grow to be looking at a Bollywood action picture final week and there grow to be this guy who grow to be Indian yet he grow to be raised in usa. And while he got here visiting family contributors in India, something incorrect he might have finished or blunders he made grow to be all taken the incorrect way and easily everyone blamed him by using fact he's American and theory he grow to be boastful. heavily. there is a few thing approximately usa and conceitedness. Ms. Fox used to assert this each and all the time, remember? She used to let us know that the worldwide used to love us, some time past some time past, and now they do no longer. by using fact of our conceitedness. And, as P'previous formed rightly stated, lack of information.

i think bush is an idiot and i vote for him, but him being an idiot or not really has nothing to do with the military people. i dont agree that we are fighting a war that i personally feel is a losing war and i kinda compare to a less vietnam, but my husband is army and i support him and all the services. i do not feel that when i say bush is an idiot that i m also putting down the men and women who defend are feedom.
bottom line ...bash bush but not the members of the military they are just doing there job...it wasnt there vote that made the war start!

thanks for your service!

I have never heard anyone put down the hard working men and women in the military.
Its the Commander in Chief that is an idiot - not the working stiffs.

I don't bad mouth the troops either, I bad mouth the Sociopathic, exalcoholic and ex drug addict by the name of George W Bush. To bad the coward couldn't have had to be in the real military instead of the Texas National Guard who Pappy Bush got him into instead of the coward going to Vietnam.

Then there is the Vice President Dickless Cheney who is the twin brother to the Devil himself who is nothing but a coward himself. He had five deferrments from having to go to Vietnam until he knew he had to go and then he conveniently got his wife pregnant so he wouldn't have to go.

Bush and Cheney remind me of Dumb and Dumber but they grief they have caused will guarantee both of them first place seats on the ride to Hell for their actions on this earth. They have chosen their path in life and will pay for their transgressions in the after life.
