If your on active duty you must complete your enlistment. You can reenlist but chances are you may lose your current standing in rank and will have to retrain.

Drop out? This isn't high school.

You may be able to apply for early separation from the USN for the purpose of enlistment in the USAF. Take a look at the Personnel Manual (available online) and see what you need to do.

I wouldn't be optimistic.

No.
You have to stay within your branch.
ie a Marine can switch to the Navy if there is need for his skills and the other way.

Better just enjoy you enlistment make the best of it.

No. I think that a sailor receives an Air Force ROTC Scholarship that it will end their enlistment.

Don't you think your military friends and leaders might be a better source for this info?

I know it's possible to switch branches but there are certain conditions.

nope. For one, you have to complete your current contract, whenther it is 4 or 6 years AD. secondly, the AF is not currently accepting any prior service applicants at this time, and won't be for a while.

contact the MPO (Military Personnel Office) at any base and they should be able to give you your answer
