If the States attack Iran, can someone foresee what would be the chain reaction of events, which would directly lead to WW III? For instance, US attacks Iran; Iran launches missiles on Israel; Israel retaliates and its rockets hit Kuwait by mistake; the Persian Gulf countries (primarily Kuwait, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman) launch an attack on Israel, Turkey - a member of NATO - allows the US to launch attacks on Iran from its soil, and Iran attacks Turkey. Other NATO members come in aid, and Bulgaria, Romania, Greece launch attacks by air on Iran too. Iran - in defence - attacks the European countries, and the WW III breaks out (there could also be scenarios of North Korea and India x Pakistan's "nuclear" behaviour towards the States [NK case] or each other [Indian Pakistan case]).

Can anyone suggest other plausible scenarios?

***Also, plz, plz, plz star my question, if you GENUINELY think it's an interesting one. Many thanks, gentlemen, and let's get the ball rolling!****

I just spoke to one of my sales reps whose son is returning from Iraq, minus an arm. He said that the troops his son was with call Iraq a "100 degree shithole" and that "they are wasting their time there." He also said the troops are "disgruntled". This was his 3rd tour.

I would like to read more personal accounts. Some troops who returned may not feel this way.

Once there was a band of adventurers traveling throught the wilderness, on their way to a better land. One day as they went along, they started to get stung by hornets now and then. The leader of the group promised to protect them from hornets.

Eventually they came upon a hornets' nest high up in a tree. The leader of the group ordered his aides to poke the nest with a sharp stick, hoping to dislodge the nest and destroy it once and for all. But this only made the hornets angry, and sting them even more.

Some members of the group started to disagree with the strategy of poking the hornets' nest, and urged them to walk away from it. For this, they were denounced as traitors by the rest. They were called "pro-hornet", and accused of undermining those using the stick, of giving aid and comfort to hornets, even of wanting their own group to be stung to death. "If we walk away from the nest", they were warned, "we will appear weak, and the hornets will surely follow us!"

I signed my contract and swore in at MEPS for the Navy a week ago. I would leace for basic in June, but MEPS called my recruiter a week later stating that I had a theft under $300 from 8 years ago, and I did not finish my 24 hour community service sentence. Now i am worried that I will be discharged. My recruiter says he is doing everything he possibly can.My recruiter knew about the charge, but we did not know about the remainig community service, and my recruiter told me not to mention it at MEPS.Could I still be eligible for the Army.?

How do military protect themselves from hearing loss when shooting a gun(all kinds), both during training and combat? I was wondering because I would imagine it would be loud when a shot's fired. Are they allowed to use ear plugs during combat?

Those bases are actual American ground, if any of us walks there, we can get shot. They store nukes there. Why ? We don't have any bases of ours in USA, right ? "Here" is Belgium.

Currently i am working on a purposal bill that will give the soldiers in which fight for our rights, all rights of a U.S. citizen 21+. Therefore this does not ONLY include drink, however the right to carry a weopon (with a lisence of course), right to gamble at casinos, and the right to go to clubs. I figure if there are fighting for our rights they deserve our rights. If any of u have imput, or advice let me know.

Will Prince Harry see actual combat duty in Iraq? Or will the officers of the Blues and Royals Regiment of the Household Cavalry make damned sure that he spends every minute of his tour of duty under heavy guard and far from hostile fire?

Is it time we buried the "special relationship" seeing as it only seems to go one way, plus we've all but paid our debt to the US by following them into one stupid adventure after another.

well, for years now, people have seen 'flying objects'. Only since the invention of the aeroplne i am going to add.
You don't see any flying objects recorded in history apart from the start of last century. There are no UFO'S, and no aliens. if their is, LAND, and we can disect you, and take your space crafts for a joyride to pluto, and naturally, have a game of ping pong on board the surface of Jupiter with 2 eggs, and some beans, maybe some ham sandwich or eye-lash soup perhaps.
