WWIII will be started by Iraq, backed by the Iranians and Syrians against the unlikely alliance of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Israel. AlQaida will side with the Sunnis of the Saudi Alliance, while Hezbollah sides with the shiia of Iran, Iraq, and Syria.
The US is bound to protect Israel, as are Britain and a few other nations. The North Koreans will most likely side with the Iraq/Iran/Syrian group just because they oppose almost any US involvement anywhere. Both Chinas, Japan, and Russia will support the now US led coalition, but how big a player they'll really be is still uncertain. Communist China, Nationalist China and Japan all oppose N.Korea's nuclear proliferation, and stand with us because of it. India, with its billion+ people, could go either way. She has a high population of Sunnis, but may opt out of the whole conflict as she may not be able to afford entering the war with such domestic problems.
It all boils down to we're all going to hell in a handbasket so enjoy the ride. Whoopee! We're all gonna die!

Like all the 3rd world nations fighting each other? Kazakhstan, Cambodia & Burkina Fasso vs. Nicaragua and Fiji. It would be wild. Literally. They would fight with sling shots and stones.
