Is it time we buried the "special relationship" seeing as it only seems to go one way, plus we've all but paid our debt to the US by following them into one stupid adventure after another.

The "Special Relationship" is a one way street which favours only the Americans, their support is sadly lacking whenever it does not suit their purpose, it should have been scrapped long ago but Blair is relying on becoming a multi- millionaire after leaving office by giving lecture tours buttering up the American people who are unable to see him for what he is.

America wants to site it in Poland and the Czech republic but Tony Blair wants it here, so it must be for financial reasons he wants it for the UK.
And of course he'll also claim it will bring jobs and protect us in the war on terror.
Just makes us a bigger target for these fundamental bampots.

Jobs and income to the local shops etc.
The Government know the other reasons.
