It's recommended but not absolutely necessary. You need to have science to be in Navy, in the Flying branch of the Air Force, or to be in certain branches of the Army like the Artillery, the Air Defence Corps, or the Mechanised Infantry, etc. Without science, you will be confined to Corps like the ASC, AOC, etc. in the Army, and similar profiles in the Air Force.

I am pretty sure you were just being a dork in your details, because the actual question is spelled impeccably, and not many people can spell necessary properly. Therefore, I think you're just being a nerd.

To answer your question, no, it's not necessary to join the army or air force. Air Force prefers a high school diploma, but the Army couldn't give a crap less if you got your GED. So, that's something to consider also. My husband's in the Army right now, and with his job you are required to take Algebra and some other classes in high school.

I would suggest that you talk to a recruiter, and figure out what MOS (occupational specialty) you would like to pursue. Then, once you have that decided, you can decide what classes you need to take.

Best of luck to you, and thank you for your willingness to serve in our military! I appreciate it! You're a hero! =D

You need science to join airforce and navy but not army (only if you want to join EME in army, Electric Mechanical Engineer), So taking science is not a bad idea, it will help you a lot even after you join the forces and want to study for the upper rank promotion in the forces itself

Yes. We have thinking soldiers who are smart and intelligent. Well rounded in all subjects. The ARMY encourages soldiers to get an higher education , with many on line schools tailored for the military. Do the best you can when you are in school, because when you get out of the military one day , jobs will look at your service and your education.

No, they only care that you graduate. It would never hurt to take 11th grade science. Making yourself smarter is always a good thing even if you're not going to go to college right away. Science is usually pretty fun compared to math or english class too. Think about it, but no it is not required.

I recommend ALL the science you can tolerate while in school. It helps in all aspects of life. Who knows you may be the one that holds the secret to some great findings some day.You never know what lies around the next corner summs so don't sell youself short of what "you" may contribute to society.

Science isn't necessary to join, but it may be necessary for the type of job you want to do.
However, from looking at your spelling, I'm assuming your just going to be cannon fodder anyway.
Bottom line, talk to your recruiter.

It occurs every time this way of question comes out. study. flow to each branches internet site and seem at all the small print and decide what branch is for you. If want be flow see dissimilar recruiters. this could be a determination you'll be able to desire to make, no longer Yahoo.
